Music Video for My Latest Album called Voices of the Living Flame
Stay Vigilant by building our family’s faith and share the stories of the role models of the faith! https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/braesidedove/voices-of-the-living-flame/ I just created my first album of a series honoring the men and women of God who gave their lives to serve the poor, downcast, rejected and abused. The album covers 14 heroes of the faith and theirs is 28 tracks, a spoken word intro track and a hip-hop version to connect with the youth and young at heart. Great for homeschoolers and youth groups and anyone who wants to learn more about missions work. Most of the footage is from Monday when my family trained 70 young people during a NexGen Challenge where we inspire the current and NexGen to embrace church planting to reach the world for Christ.

Have You Heard of the Gas Station Heroin?
What is it and what’s the problem? The leaves from a tree native to Southeast Asia, Kratom is a herbal medicine with effects similar to opioids. It is most often found as a powder in the United States, in capsule or tea form and more recently, and concentrated extracts. 7-hydroxymitragynine, or 7-OH, is a highly potent compound, semi-synthetically derived, and added to Kratom products in concentrated form. And much like any opiate, it is also highly addictive. It’s how we see caffeine energy drinks that are in these tiny containers with extremely high levels of caffeine. People can end up with heart attacks if they drink several of those, whereas you would have to drink a significantly higher amount of coffee to get into health problems. Kratom and it's 7-OH derivatives are currently unregulated in the United States and being sold in nearly every gas station convenience store and head shop in America. Hence the “Gas Station Heroin” tag. Using these products and combining them with other substances (legal and illegal) have been linked to possible overdoses and deaths. A new paper just published looking at 551 deaths in Florida where 7-OH was detected post-mortem. In 93.5% of these cases, at least one other chemical was found in the system. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner recently identified ten fatal overdoses associated with 7-OH ingestion in LA County residents between the ages of 18 to 40 years old. https://ktla.com/news/local-news/deadly-7-oh-kratom-overdoses-confirmed-in-los-angeles-county/ The picture is of two out of about fifty different products containing concentrated 7-OH from our local gas station. Cheap, easy, readily available, no questions asked, flashy/effective marketing, and highly concentrated. Do you know what your kids are buying? Stay Safe - Stay Vigilant, S&J The Vigilant Family

@John Delmonico most people would do crystal meth (shabu) as a hit is as low as 50cents from what I’ve been told.

I’ve heard of this but haven’t had to deal with anyone using it in the Philippines. I run an Adult and Teen Challenge center here. 💊 Yaba (ยา บ้า) — The “Crazy Pill” What it is:Yaba (pronounced yah-bah, Thai for “crazy medicine” or “madness drug”) is a dangerous stimulant drug widely trafficked and abused in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Main ingredients: - Methamphetamine (shabu) — powerful central nervous system stimulant - Caffeine — added to increase the rush and alertness Appearance: - Small red, orange, or pink tablets stamped with logos (like WY or R) - Often crushed, smoked, swallowed, or injected - Has a sweet smell, sometimes mistaken for candy Street names: - “Crazy Pill” - “WY” - “Shabu tablet” - “Nazi speed” (older slang) Effects: - Euphoria, hyperactivity, confidence boost - Loss of appetite and sleep - Paranoia, aggression, violent behavior - Long-term brain damage and psychosis Dangers:Yaba causes severe addiction and mental instability. Users often experience hallucinations, paranoia, and violent outbursts — leading to crime, family destruction, or death from overdose or exhaustion. Regional Concern:Yaba is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest drug threats, particularly from the Golden Triangle region (Myanmar–Thailand–Laos border). It’s cheap, easy to smuggle, and heavily marketed to youth, drivers, and laborers to “boost energy.” ⚠️ What to Watch For: - Small colorful pills with stamped logos (WY, R, etc.) - Aluminum or plastic packets hidden in pockets or wallets - Sudden sleeplessness, red eyes, aggressive talk, or paranoia in users
