Is there anything here that applies to this, anyone know about this ? any discussion or body doubling possibilities? Just curious how this shows up in what we are doing. here ??
Mushroom Coffee.. Yay or Nay?
Okay but seriously… who here drinks mushroom coffee? 🍄☕😂 I’m not trying to become one with the forest, but if it helps my ADHD brain focus without making me feel like a raccoon digging through trash at 2am… I’m listening. 🤣 I want REAL answers though......What positives have YOU actually noticed? More energy? Better focus? Less anxiety? Did you suddenly become a productive woodland creature?? I have also heard weight loss goes along with this???? And negatives? I have been drinking it for a VERY SHORT TIME...BUT I DO NOT PAY for the really expensive stuff. Wondering if the less expensive stuff works like the really expensive stuff...

Mushroom - effective and powerful, especially Lion's mane. I have tried the coffee, but haven't really stayed with it -- HOWEVER, I do Love fresh mushrooms, cooked, I also have used Drops - Sarasota has a company called "Petrichor", they make all kinds of things from growing mushrooms, also caplets - "Mycommunnity" host defense mushrooms, etcc. I think it's very helpful to me along with L-tyrosine, & L-theanine.....

@Sisse Plesner - for better explanation google benefits Lions Mane, etc. there is so much info out there - mushrooms in general. hostdefense.com also many drinks that have nootropics, & entheogens etc

This is my focus for this week. This lovely little girl, 10yo, found as a stray ended up in the pound before a rescue centre took her in. She arrived a couple of hours ago, and is in her forever home now. This week, everything else can wait.

Just completed the ADHD Awakening Assessment and finally saw it: I'm not someone who "just quits or fails again." I'm someone whose brain comes alive with fast feedback, green space, animals, and helping someone who needs me. The proof was in my own answers the whole time - I finished two diet modules, my morning routine is already beautiful, and the 200-acre girl who read books in trees is still in there. Time to build the life she's been waiting for.

Dropping Anchor
Jim's 30-Minute Comeback Protocol made me think of the concept of "dropping anchor" from "The Happiness Trap" by Russ Harris. Harris encourages readers to share his concepts, so I though I would post a little more detail here than I did in the live trap. It's a little more physically focused and may make a powerful partner for the 3-Minute Comeback!: Steps to "Drop Anchor": 1. Acknowledge Your Thoughts and Feelings (“Noticing and Naming”): Recognize and mentally note any distressing thoughts, emotions, or sensations you're experiencing. Example: "I'm feeling anxious" or "I'm having the thought that I'm not good enough." 2. Come Back to Your Body: Refocus your attention on your physical self to ground yourself. Suggested actions: Press your feet firmly onto the floor. Straighten your posture. Stretch your arms or neck. Take slow, deep breaths. 3. Engage with the Present Moment: Direct your attention outward to your immediate environment. Ways to engage: Notice five things you can see around you. Listen for and identify specific sounds. Touch objects nearby, focusing on their texture and temperature. By practicing these steps, individuals can anchor themselves in the present, allowing them to navigate emotional challenges more effectively and act in ways that align with their values.
