Why wear yellow lensed glasses outside?!?
When I see people wearing yellow lensed blue blocking glasses outside, it makes me think "WHY?!? This person just doesn't get it." Humans are supposed to get the maximum amount of natural / unfiltered light exposure in our eyes when we're outside in the sun, right? So, you can see understand why I'm genuinely confused @Bret Maverick when I see you hosting educational content on light and you're wearing yellow lenses OUTDOORS. It would make perfect sense to wear yellow lenses INDOORS during daytime when you're using devices, but makes zero sense when worn outdoors...it only creates misunderstanding among those who don't know any better. I'm not throwing shade at all, I truly just want to understand...is there a good reason to wear these outside that I'm not aware of? If not, then can we all please agree to never wear yellow lenses outside 😁🙏

@Drew Ricciardi yes great point, urban blue light disaster zone is the exception, def makes sense to wear them outdoors when you’re in that environment!
Dr. Stephanie Rimka | Ultraviolet Light and Sun Optimization
Alright folks! Here is our final lesson for the Ultraviolet Light Mastery Course. Bret sat down with Dr. Stephanie Rimka, BA, DC, BCN is a bridge between ancestral wisdom of nature and technology gained from quantum biology, neurology, and electromagnetic research. Enjoy the interview :) https://www.skool.com/emrlightskool/classroom/30ec2500?md=c1f7d58a630d48f98bb3dbda26c61e5a

@Jess Allen I just got done listening to this one. My understanding is that cold water showers are fine. My takeaway is that Dr Rimka meant using soap in the shower (like most people do) is washing away the good oil/sebum we build up in our skin. Also I know hot showers (even w/o using soap) are known to wash away oil. Next time you have an oily pan run some cold water on it and notice the oil remains, then turn it to hot and watch most of the oil wash away. Same concept with out skin. IMO you’re safe to keep using cold shower breaks down in El Salvador, but it might be worth asking uncle Jack about this on his next pow wow?
