Quick Community Poll
Every positive workplace culture is built on several important foundations. But if you could strengthen just one first... Which would you choose? 💬 Community Challenge Vote first. Then tell us why you made that choice. Finally... Find someone who chose something different from you did and ask them what influenced their thinking. The goal isn't to agree. It's to understand different perspectives. Thank you for helping create a community where leaders learn, connect, and grow—together. — Stephanie

I selected Psychological Safety - I feel this helps teams connect, hold each other accountable, positively contribute to the team goals and support effective communication. With this foundation, team members can comfortably be themselves and confidently contribute to the team.
New Here? Introduce Yourself!
We’re glad you’re here. Create Cultures on Purpose is a space for leaders, business owners, and professionals who want to build stronger cultures through intentional communication, connection, and leadership. Take a moment to introduce yourself to the group: Hi, my name is ________. I’m joining from _________. I work in _________. One fun fact about me is _________. Then, share a picture of your workspace, office, favorite place to think, or wherever you do your best work. We’d love to learn more about you and help you feel connected from the start.

Hi, my name is Jeanna (pronounced like "Gina"). I’m joining from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi (USA). I work in academic affairs and preventive medicine. One fun fact about me is that I collect paper money and coins from around the world.
💬 Connection Thursday: What Would You Do?
Imagine this... You lead a small team, and one of your strongest employees has recently become noticeably quieter. They still get their work done. They attend meetings. Nothing is technically “wrong.” But they’ve stopped offering ideas, rarely speak unless asked, and seem less connected to the team. You ask if everything is okay, and they smile and say: “I'm fine. Just busy.” 🤔 What would you do next? Would you let it go? Ask another question? Schedule a private conversation? Watch and wait? Try something completely different? 💬 There’s no single right answer. Share how you would approach it, and then respond to someone else’s idea.

Schedule a private conversation to share that you've noticed a change in their behavior and that you want to ensure they are heard and valued as a member of your team.
