Hey guys, Have seen a few people unsure about whether to pay the £2 upgrade to send letters as fully tracked. I understand it is a tough choice as it affects margins, but I found a BBC article that is worth a read about the whole situation: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c39wlryn20vo Here is a quick explanation of the difference and how the upgrade works: Royal Mail has, since Christmas, stopped prioritising deliveries of letters sent without the RM48 upgrade. Whilst some do arrive on time or only 1-2 days late, we are seeing a high majority take weeks, or go missing completely. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary delays and complications, we will now be sending letters with full RM48 tracking. This comes at a cost of £2 extra. This is £2 extra per order, and not per item. Letters sent without the upgrade only update upon delivery, and does not show step by step tracking. Upgrading also ensures your customers can track their order each step of the way. We have still left the option to send letters the old way, however we do not recommend this! Royal Mail are not prioritising standard letters at all and this will lead to significant delays. Not selecting this postage option significantly increases the chances of delayed orders, leading to customer complaints, and failure to meet star seller standards. Just a heads up! It may be worth thinking about whether you want to increase your prices for A5, A4, 5x7" and 8x10" to cover this upgrade. I know some of you were unsure about whether to select this upgrade or not, so hopefully this clears some things up 😎

Some of my new poster designs are stamps. One new design upscales perfectly into 3:4. With the A ratios, there are slightly wider margins on the top and bottom. On the 2:3 ratios there are slightly wider margins on the left and right. Because the images have perforated stamp edges, it's not an option to change the graphic. Personally for me, if I was buying this would not be a deal breaker. But, I'm guessing some customers might lose their shit if they see the margins are not equal. I could call this out in the description, but expect no one will read it. Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks!

Hey everyone, I reached out to [email protected] 48 hours ago but have not heard back. I'm wondering therefore if any here can help me out here. I created a new account with PrintShrimp, having followed the TikTok videos. I run another POD shop that has been open and building for around two months now, so I'm still pretty new to this. I followed Tom's video tutorial on creating an Etsy listing. All seem to go fine and it has been posted. My uncertainty lies around Shipping profiles. This is a new area for me because these are generally pre populated from other POD providers. I think I have done them correctly, but I'm not 100% confident.
