Did anyone do soft launch/ pre launch before main launch ?
Quick question to everyone. Did anyone plan a soft launch and invited only founding members first and created a waiting list for new members to join? In terms of getting people to join your community mine will be free at first. I’ll be sending what’s app messages, post on my social media, add my insta and Skool links everywhere, thinking of setting up a linked in account so I can do pop ups at the gym and get leads through that way and talk to people. What other ways have people done or tried before they have launched to raise awareness of what is coming their way? Thank you for your help in advance.
What Happened When I Launched My First Skool Challenge - EP 53
This episode covers what happened after I launched a 30 day content challenge inside my paid Skool community, The One Person Show. The challenge is meant to help members get past overthinking and camera fear by simply posting more videos, and I'm running it alongside daily check ins. Hello newbie here 🔥
Good morning everyone! My name is Jaymini, and I’m from Leicester. For the past seven years, I’ve been on my own body transformation journey. It hasn’t just been about changing physically it’s been a journey of rebuilding my confidence, learning to believe in myself, and growing mentally. Along the way, I’ve experienced plenty of struggles, but I’ve also discovered so much about resilience and self-worth. One thing that’s really stood out is how many people even complete strangers have opened up to me about their own struggles. Whether it’s a lack of self-belief, low confidence, feeling stuck in life, or simply not knowing where to start, these conversations have made me realise how many people are looking for support. That’s what’s inspired me to build a community focused on helping people develop self-love, confidence, a stronger mindset, and personal growth. I want it to go beyond surface-level motivation and create a safe space where people can have honest conversations, support one another, and make lasting changes from the inside out. I haven’t launched the community yet, and I’m currently trying to validate the idea. I’d really love some advice on how to generate interest before launching, how to build an audience, and how to know whether there’s a genuine market for something like this. I’m looking forward to learning from you all and appreciate any support or guidance you can offer. Thank you! http://Instagram.com/mini_chhokar

Questions
What are people biggest fear in starting a Skool Community? How do you transition from free membership to paid customers? How long should you wait before you charge for your platform? How do you share or advertise your Community? How many members should you have before you start charging membership? What advice would you give in order to keep on top of everything? How often would you create content? For new communities would you slowly drip feed value or do all out? Thank you

Welcome to The One-Person Business! Read This First! 🎉
Awesome to have you here! 💪 Here are a few things to do first: 1. Introduce yourself Drop a quick post in the community. Keep it simple: → Where you’re from → What your business is → What you’re currently struggling with in your business 2. This post explains what is inside this community: https://www.skool.com/one-person-business/classroom/353473d0?md=f4adb442f6fd46de92bbc001ae4c6760 3. Keep the group clean I know we all want to sell our stuff, I get it, but the best way to do that on this whole Skool platform is to just help other people. When you do that, people will check out your profile and find your services through there, so put your time into being helpful and into making your Skool profile good. And then instead of pitching, just show what you're working on. Share your real workflows and how you're doing things, post your examples and screenshots, ask real questions and be specific about what you need help with and if you can help someone else, jump in and help them. 4. Be positive and helpful Most of us are building our businesses mostly on our own, so let's keep things supportive. Share wins, struggles, ideas, and anything that might help others. Thanks for joining. Let's build our one-person businesses in a way that feels good and still gives us time for our families, friends, and normal life 🥳
