Distant Reiki Session Resources
I've been putting together resources for distant Reiki sessions and I keep second-guessing myself. What would actually be useful to YOU? A guided meditation to use during the session? A prep guide? How to follow-up the session? Tell me what's missing for you.

Don't second guess yourself. For me, music is a big element when I am doing a distance Reiki session. If you are using Zoom and have a paid account, you can use their music app. If you are doing a distance session where the client is not on-line with you, my favorite CD is "Reiki Chants" by Johnathan Goldman. Another is "Reiki River" by Nial. I also like "Music To Journal By" by Julie True. Are you intending on creating a guide for the client of for the Practitioner or both? Love this
Room Spinning
Hello my friends! Jay, this is a question for you. I practiced reiki on my client again today for a little bit longer time period than yesterday (25 minutes compared to 15). Yesterday, I did not do the choku rei symbols all over the walls/floor/ceiling, just on my client before and afterwards. Today I remembered to do walls/etc. When I was done, she was very relaxed and happy and said her heart palpitations went away - yay! She went back to her bed to rest some more. I heard her calling me a few minutes later, but I was helping her husband who has Parkinson’s do some exercises (and then he allowed me to Reiki him, too!), so I could not go back to her until about 20 minutes later. When I went to talk to her, she told me that when she sat up the second time, the room was spinning. She said it spun about seven or eight times before she realized her heart palpitations came back and she put her CPAP machine back on. I have heard of someone being dizzy after receiving Reiki before, but I believe that practitioner thought she knew specifically which chakras needed to be turned in which direction and that he was completely out of balance energetically, so when he stood up, it showed up physically. My client wanted me to ask you about this. What are your insights/experience with this?

Does your client normally wear their CPAP during waking hours? My guess is the Reiki benefited your client temporarily and then their normal condition came back which might have caused the dizziness. Is this client typically dizzy or was this an isolated incident.

@Brittany Marker I would say more frequent sessions, perhaps a bit longer. I would also consider doing some distant healing to those traumas in her past. Just know I am so proud of you. Also, try using the Mental Emotional symbol as it can be very effective for the anxiety.
