The probe thermometer is as accurate as my trusty Taylor thermometer I’ve had for a few years, albeit a bit slower to display the actual temperature. As far as the IR thermometer is concerned, after adjusting the emissivity settings, I was able to get it to accurately measure the temperature of an ice bath, beyond this, I have yet to use it in my coffee station. But, I suppose I can measure the temperature of my kettle water, as it has varying temperature settings which I can use as a reference.
