Coaching app I have been using
I thought this tool I have been using has been really helpful for coaching it helps create a practice plan with helpful tools to build confidence, resilience, leadership and teamwork into your practices. It also helps with parent expectation, etc. I just started using this for my 10u girls basketball team. We have had 2 practices, and they have been great so far. https://foursup.io/

That app looks pretty awesome, but I had trouble getting it to work.

How much time should kids practice their activities outside of structured practice times? I know there can be a billion ways to answer this, due to all the life variables and desired outcomes, but give it a shot and explain your reasoning.

@Kelli Korneta that's awesome. I love it when you can see the desire to play, learn and get better. Kids have a way of figuring things out if the just put in some time having fun and playing around.

Is there a way out of it? It's business and as long as there are people able to put together tournaments and make money, people are going to sign up.

Social Media
Here is a video I came across that I found interesting. Normally I send theseto my wife, and she generally ignores them. Today I figured I would share it here so you all can ignore it instead, 😂 https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FEG9GqjG6/

How to help your kids learn new things!
I made this comment in a different group. The topic was helping kids through the learning process. Some kids struggle when things get hard and give up. Me personally, I am learning how to get more comfortable making videos for social media to promote my first book. When around my kids, I will say things like, "I am learning how to make these videos, I feel weird and it's not easy, but I will figure it out!" I do this because I'm trying to model what it's like to learn and grow
