I have some content I will be adding to the classroom section, but first I have to figure out how to upload it and make it work! Technology is not my friend, yet! In the meantime, what issues you are facing raising your Athletes?
What is a confusion/question about the college recruitment process that you're looking for clarity on? There are no dumb questions.... only the ones that are not asked! Let's hear it!
@Vanessa JagimThe biggest thing that made the difference for me (and something I really wish an adult had told me back then) was realizing that my identity and value were not tied to my sport at all. My performance had zero impact on my worth as a person. Sports are incredibly competitive, and we often become known for what we do or the position we play. Everything changed when I understood that my value comes from the fact that God made me in His image — it’s inherent, not earned. Having an identity rooted in God is something parents and coaches need to help ground kids in. Christ loves them no matter what. If they quit tomorrow or play professionally, they are just as precious to Him. And to answer your question — yes, it truly helps them play better and play with confidence, because they’re no longer carrying the pressure of having to prove their worth through performance. I hope this helps and can encourage you and your child!!💛
