@Felix Schwarze I completely agree with the WHY!! It is crucial for you all to know WHY you are doing the things that you are doing. As Felix said, if you are doing XYZ just because someone told you too then you need to reevaluate why you are doing those things. And Felix's advice with choosing 20 things that you want to work on is absolutely amazing. I might have to implement this mindset for my life 😉 Once you have your list of 3 to 5 things that are most important to you, try to do something towards achieving those goals every day. For example, if my physical fitness is my most important thing, then everyday I'll do a 30-40 minute work out. Keep on grinding lads and things will fall into place! you'll see.
Hello I'm Coach Jay!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to this awesome community! My name’s Jeronimo, but it’s a bit of a mouthful for some people, so feel free to call me Coach Jay! I’m 24 years old and originally from Mexico. Football has been a part of my life since I could walk, and I’ve always had a ball at my feet. Though I was born in Mexico, I’ve spent most of my life traveling. By the time I turned 19, I’d already lived in 7 different countries across 4 continents and 10 cities! (Let me know where you guys are from!! Maybe I've already lived or been to wherever you are!) No matter where I was, I always made sure to be involved in a football team, whether it was school or a club outside of school. Honestly, most of the time, I played for my school team and one or two clubs on the side. When I was 17, I got a chance to play at a very high level in Spain. I spent a year at the Rayo Vallecano academy in Madrid before moving to the Valencia Academy the following year. I played for their U19 side as well as their U21s. Although I chose to pursue a university degree, I kept playing football. I even made it onto my university team, but unfortunately, COVID hit, and I had to stop playing. That’s when I decided to transition into coaching. I got my Grassroots coaching license and I am currently in the process of getting my UEFA C license! The dream is to eventually get my UEFA A license and possibly coach a professional team!! Football has been my passion through and through, and it still is today! When I’m not on the pitch coaching or playing, you’ll find me watching live games, catching highlights, or training—whether it’s on the field or at the beach with my boy, Felix Schwarze. Football has taught me so much over the years, and I’m excited to be part of this community and share everything I’ve learned with all of you. Looking forward to connecting with everyone! and if you guys have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to reach out!! 🫡 🌞 🤙🏽

@Felix Schwarze Thanks for the welcome mate and thanks for such a lovely message :) as you said, my passion is clear. It always has been and always will be football so I'm glad to be joining a community of likeminded individuals who want to achieve greatness not only in the sport we all love and play but also in life. Together you and I are going to kill it and I'm honestly so excited thinking about all the different possibilities in front of us. One day at a time and slowly we will have sick community full of knowledge, positivity, and greatness! Much love mate and lets STAY HARD!

My boy @Felix Schwarze is being a little too modest haha but I definitely love playing this sport and it shows. And since the first time I played with @Felix Schwarze we clicked instantly as if we've been playing for years. Can't wait to keep going and see how far we can go. 🌞 🤙🏽
Challenge #1 (March 9-15)
Did half the challenge—10 juggles on one foot, but couldn’t switch. Posting my attempt and aiming to improve! ⚽ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZnPitauAz-5zbQtUn3BAX7GAx8VO2Vw5/view?usp=drivesdk

Big ups on posting your progress regardless of how good or bad! This shows that you are committed to getting better and also holding yourself accountable! Absolutely love this effort! Keep it up mate and in no time you will be smashing your record 🤙🏽 🌞 I agree with @Felix Schwarze that your juggling technique is off to a solid start. However, I saw in the beginning of the video that you had to pass the ball to a wall in order to start the juggling session. Next time, try dragging the ball back onto your foot and flicking it up. Again, this takes time, patience and more importantly, practice!! So keep at it @Pranav Mahajan!!

The Power of Positive Thinking: The Mentality of a True Athlete
As young athletes, one of the most powerful tools you have is your mindset. The way you think before, during, and after a game can make all the difference. One of the most important things I want you all to remember is this: always be positive, no matter what. Your brain believes what you tell it, so it’s crucial to speak words of encouragement to yourself, especially when things aren't going your way. Positive self-talk isn’t just a nice thing to do; it’s a game changer. It can be the difference between success and defeat, between giving up and pushing through. Let me share an example from when I was your age, as a player. There was one moment that taught me this lesson in a way I’ll never forget. I was young and playing in a penalty shootout. I had missed one penalty before, and it stuck with me. Every time I had to step up to take another, all I could think was, “I can’t miss. I can’t miss. I can’t miss.” I was terrified of failing, and every time, the pressure got to me. More often than not, I either missed the target completely or had my shot saved by the goalkeeper. It wasn’t until I was 14 that I realised what was happening. Instead of focusing on what I didn’t want to happen—missing the penalty—I changed my mindset. I started saying to myself, “I will score. I will score. I will score.” When I walked up to take that next penalty, my mind was focused on success, not fear. And guess what? The change was immediate. The confidence I gained from believing in myself allowed me to perform better, and I started making those penalties consistently. So here’s my advice to you: when you step onto the field, when you face a tough challenge or an important moment, replace the fear with confidence. Instead of saying to yourself “I can’t miss,” say “I will score.” Instead of doubting your abilities, believe in them. Your mindset shapes your actions, and with the right mentality, you can achieve greatness. Remember, no matter what happens, stay positive, believe in yourself, and keep pushing forward.
