Frustrated over here!
As most of you know, I have been researching patio homes to build in Ephraim. My father is in charge of the project and told me what he was planning. I talked with property managers, went to visit communities and created a PowerPoint for him. One of the first things he told me is he “changed his mind, that will never work.” I was defeated. I had put in so much effort into this idea. I’m ok now. We’ve decided to build houses on the lots and sell them that way. I’ve bought a real estate course that will help me study. I’m getting my real estate license.

@Robyn Scott have you heard of the real estate group Renatus? My wife and I joined the group a few years ago and I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities we have had and networking. They have a lot of investors looking to invest in properties projects like yours. https://myrenatus.com They have an in person meeting this Thursday and next Thursday in Sandy if you’re interested.

I don’t fully know what my one thing / goal is yet. So I’m going to think out loud for a minute and see if I can find it. There are a lot of things I want to do. There are also a lot of things that feel like they are on fire. They are demanding my attention, but that does not always mean they are the most important thing. The One Thing is not usually the thing on fire. Right now, my one thing is finding a way to bring in at least $2,400 a month. That could come from a part-time job or a steady client. The form matters less than the outcome. The biggest factor is getting in front of people who have the money to pay for my skills and the kind of problems I can help solve. The One Thing: is to Create opportunities that can lead to $2,400 a month. Goal: Get in front of the right people to hav face to face conversations. Action: 1. Prepare for the interviews I have setup 2. Go to networking events to find more interviews 3. Finish the ai agent that showcases my skills and I could sale.

28 Game-Changer Books You Should Read

I've read a lot of Self help and business books over the years. I've started to categorize them like this If it's a business book: 1. Systems 2. Finances 3. Branding 4. Sales 5. Marketing If it's a self help I categorize it based off a quote I modified from Tao Te Ching: Watch your Beliefs they become your Words. Watch your Words they become your Emotions. Watch your Emotions they become your Actions. Watch your Actions they become your Habits. Watch your Habits they become your Character. Watch your Character it defines your Destiny. If you don't know where to start I suggest starting with books on beliefs. Like Limitless by Kris Krohn, or Be Your Future Self Now by Dr. Benjamin hardy. Everything in life is controlled by our beliefs. Some books fit in multiple categories but they always have a main theme that fits in just one.

I recommend adding Getting Things Done by David Alan.
3rd draft Complete ✅
I've been working on building a branding course. One of the thing in it is a Brand Guide Templet. I just finished reviewing and updating it today. My next step: Upload videos to the course platform.
