8HP swap in a GMT800
Getting this 8HP70 swap kicked off in my 06 Sierra. Comparing sizes, the 8HP is surprisingly similar in size to the stock 4L60e. I will keep updating this as I move along! Looks promising to not have to trim the firewall or move the engine, even with the LOJ adapter. I will find out if a 4L80e crossmember will bolt up🤞
