Solid workout tonight
I am noticing how much better I feel after I do a hard workout like I did tonight. It wasn't all perfect but I'm trying to push my limits such as with the overhead press and also have a goal to master toes to bar (this is currently messy) as well as muscle ups which I'm learning from another trainer I work with.

Ready to work!
Hey everyone! Glad to be here and excited to see where this goes. I’m currently away at law enforcement training and have been putting a lot of work into improving my fitness. I’ve brought my run times down significantly and have also been getting in a couple hours of jiu-jitsu each week. My biggest 30-day goal is to get my 1.5 mile run down to 10:00. I’m currently at 11:58, so there’s work to do, but I’m ready to get after it. I’ll be training at least 5 days a week, along with jiu-jitsu and/or Muay Thai at least twice a week. My other goal is to really dial in my nutrition; eating healthier, staying consistent, and maintaining a slight calorie deficit. I’m carrying more weight than I want to right now, but with better nutrition and increased training, I know that won’t be the case for long. 30 days. Stay disciplined. Put in the work. See what happens. 💪

Hey Taylor, I like how your goals are so tangible here, especially about the mile time and staying in a calorie deficit. Love training Muay Thai as well, and 5 days of that with jiu jitsu will definitely shed lots of weight.
Trust the process

Morning Affirmation 9/25/26
I am committing myself to and praying that I can go through a renaissance in my love of fitness and training. I know I am good at what I do already, I just need to get more focused on the details now.

Morning Affirmation 9/24/26
Good morning everyone! Excited to be here, I just joined the community last night. In the last 3 years I have grown a lot both as a trainer and have many clients who rely on me weekly, and more importantly re-commiting to my faith, following Jesus and being baptized a year ago. I pray every day for God to make me new, shed the old way of being and lean into discomfort so I can ultimately serve the world better. This morning I just finished what ended up being about a 34-hour fast that I just broke with a banana. I did allow myself coffee but that and water was it. Planning to fast every Wednesday for the foreseeable future to be able to need less and hope to change my habits and mindset around food. Does anyone here have any experience with fasting and what are your reasons for doing so and your experience with it?

That's awesome, I like that a lot. I'm going to think more about how I can add things that matter more as you say.
