Flag Football🏈
Man, there are few things in this world I love more than football. I love competing and trying to outperform my previous performance! Here are a few highlights from this past weekend I wanted to share…. Yes that is me with the pink beanie 🤙🏽

First Hyrox 🏆🔥
Man... first HYROX in the books! I've been training pretty intensely for the last 16 months, and about 4 months ago I decided that when HYROX came to town, I was doing it. Yesterday we got it done. I was lucky enough to run the relay with some great guys i get to call brothers! I couldn't have asked for a better group to do my first one with. This was one of those things that you do once and immediately think... yep, I'm doing that again. Absolutely loved the competition, the atmosphere, pushing myself, and just seeing what all this training has been building toward. Safe to say this was the first of MANY HYROX competitions. Already working on getting a doubles competition on the calendar next... 👀 Stay tuned. We're just getting started!🔜

Hotel Gym Workouts
Been traveling a lot lately. Finding I select hotels based not only on brand, but on the gym they offer. How do you stay consistent when traveling?

Balance
For years I thought “balance” meant splitting my life into neat equal parts — work here, family here, health here, all getting their fair share. That's a lie nobody tells you outright, but everyone implies. Some seasons demand more of you at work. Some demand more at home. Some demand more from your body because you ignored it too long and now it's sending invoices. The real skill isn't balancing all of it perfectly at once. It's moderation — knowing when to lean in, when to pull back, and never letting one part of your life eat the others alive for too long. I've gone all-in on work and told myself it was temporary. It wasn't. I've gone all-in on rest and called it “healing” when it was actually avoidance. Both versions of me were unbalanced in the exact same way — no moderation, just swinging from one extreme convincing myself it was the answer. Moderation is boring. It doesn't make a good highlight reel. Nobody posts “I did a reasonable amount of everything today.” But it's the only thing that's actually sustainable. So now I ask myself one question when something's taking over: is this in proportion to everything else I care about? Not perfect. Not equal. Just in proportion. That's it. That's the whole system. What's the one area of your life that's currently out of proportion

Love this! I have been intentionally trying to spend more time doing things I love. That was one of my resolutions this year! I have found joy watching movies with my daughter/wife and playing football with the homies🏈
Monday Motivation 📚
Periodically I listen to this podcast when I need a reminder of what's important in life, and today I wanted to share it with you. Sometimes we get so busy in "the chase" that we lose sight of what we're actually chasing. And more importantly, why we're chasing it. I believe God impresses our minds and shows us His vision for us. I think those are called dreams. And we all want to chase ours. So here's what I want you to sit with: Imagine how you would chase your dreams if you knew you couldn't lose, because the all-powerful God was in your corner. Guess what… YOU DO. Give it a watch. Then do one thing today that your dream requires, however small, and move like you already know how it ends. Because you do. 🙏 Drop a 🙌 below if you needed to hear this today.
