🚨Back to Basics: 10 Credit Commandments🚨
1. Happy Wednesday Money Makers! A recent question I answered for one of the family members made me realize some of y'all might benefit from a little review of some of the most important aspects of building and cleaning credit reports. So let's recapping them again real quick: 1. Peep the Potential Points: The US credit scale ranges from 300 to 850 giving a total of 550 Possible Points 2. Obsess over Details, NOT Digits: Details of Credit Reports are much more important that the actual credit score 3. Personal Information is the First Pull: Banks will pull your personal details first so cleaning them up on credit reports is also the FIRST thing to do when cleaning up negative items 4. Stay FICO Focused: Know the FICO Framework (35% of score is payment history, 30% is utilization, 15% age, 10% mix, 10% inquiries) 5. Starve the Secondaries: Secondary bureaus also known as Data Furnishers buy your data and sell it to the bureaus allowing negative items to report. Cut off their money by "opting out" of this reporting 6. Respect Your Relationships: Build relationships with BANKS not Credit Builders then when you need money from an actual bank, they have more of a reason to trust you 7. Start Secured: When you need to "build credit" do so with SECURED BANKING products (products baked up with something of physical value like a house, a car, or your actual cash) from "actual banks" so you can graduate to "unsecured" (not backed up by something of physical value) 8. Make Sure to Mix it Up: 10% of your credit score is how you manage "different types of credit" secured, unsecured, installment, revolving etc. The more mixed the better. 9. Retain all Receipts: Communications from creditors, collectors, debt companies etc 99% of the time is violating your legal rights so keep them and use as leverage when you need to dispute negatives 10. Use Builders to Boost Score NOT to Get approvals: Credit building products like Kickoff, Kovo, and Self can improve your score over time BUT WILL NEVER improve your report so choose wisely where you spend your money!

What's up future millionaires, you know I like to start the week off strong, so let's talk about marketing! When you're looking for credit repair clients, it's a GREAT IDEA to partner with other businesses who will benefit from your clients credit improvements. So be sure to make offers to them as well that create "Win-Win" setups for you and them and let them help sell your services for you. These are some of the frameworks I have used to grow my client numbers: ✅Gave QR code to used car dealers to let potential clients book a FREE consult if denied for a car ✅Offered relator referral for credit challenged buyers to get them clean in 6 months or less ✅Paid check cashing businesses to leave my "Funding Frameworks" checklist to grow my email list ✅Brought breakfast to my bankers monthly to grow my BRM network All of these strategies are built on creating more value for some other business so they naturally send more clients to me! Happy Monday morning cousins, I hope y'all enjoyed the weekend because Mondays we get back to work. Got the updates on this client Friday but his Experian still wouldn't load until today. My guy already has 2 trucks he's been running and now that since we set up his LLC properly 6 months ago and have been running all his deposits through his business checking accounts with THREE different banks, we're good to go to start funding today. Here's the step by step break down of how I got my boy funding ready: ✅Set up his LLC on day one so his business starting aging while we fixed his credit ✅AS ALWAYS started with personal information (I gave this 2-3 weeks before any actual disputes) ✅Of course froze and blocked secondary bureaus (pull reports too though, you need them for funding) ✅Started dispute asking for simple investigation (best for lates, charge-offs and collections) ✅ALWAYS included all personal identification documents and get them notarized when possible ✅WAITED for the stalls, I knew the were coming ✅ Include every statue violation in escalated dispute letters ✅USE THE STALL AS LEVERAGE, attach every stall letter with FCRA backed legal compliance demand ✅ Remind bureaus of the right to sue and pursue financial damages for non-compliance And now look at him, best credit scores he's ever had in his LIFE and on target to get a BUSINESS BAG! Happy Thursday future millionaires, I hope everyone is on their way to closing out the week strong! A conversation with a client yesterday gave me a real Aha moment. We're in the middle of a funding sequence for him and he asked: "what if we get denied?" LOL I had to stop myself from cursing, in the moment but the answer was.......NOT A D@MN thang! The more important question to be asking is "what if we get APPROVED?" Because getting approved changes the game, changes your finances, and the right amount CHANGES YOUR LIFE. Last night this same client got $16,000 in 0% interest business credit for the next 18 MONTHS, and this took all of SIXTY MINUTES to secure! Moral of the story.....that same fear he lead with, almost kept him from his funds. Sure denials are disappointing BUT I see every denial in business funding as a "blueprint" for what that lender is looking for THE NEXT TIME WE APPLY!
