I'm Back! + Updates 🌱
So I am officially relocated to Fresno! If you didn't know yet, I moved from Tucson, AZ out to Fresno, CA because my fiancée got accepted into her doctorate program out here. This last month has had a TON of drama around moving, but I have everything settled now and I'm moved over and (mostly) unpacked. I've been really quiet on here while I've been running around putting out fires, but I'm finally getting back into adding content daily, and building out the Skool. Unfortunately, I am also back to the apartment lifestyle. This means making due with limited space, little to no outdoor growing, and finding myself on the much more low-key side of things again. But that just means I get to show you guys how to make it work! 😎 Dealing with some of those challenges can lead to a lot of creativity and resourcefulness, which I always try to encourage. I actually plan on building out a whole section in the classroom on "stealth growing" and some of the tips & tricks I've learned over the years to avoid headaches, so let me know if that's something that would be useful to you! ⚠️ Please follow all your local laws still. I intend to make that section as a way to help you minimize nuisances, and maximize the value of the limited spaces you have available. ⚠️ That being said, I did have to downsize a little and I'm only going to have 1 indoor tent up for flowering (although you guys never got to see the others anyways). Thankfully, I was able to bring most of my clones / mother stock with me, so I'll have a bit of a jump start with some badass genetics to show off, and I'm lucky enough to have a small garage I get to use as a soil workshop. 👀🌱 I won't have the full backyard garden like before, but I do still have a small balcony / porch area that I'll be using to make a little personal garden. No matter where I go, I'll always find a way to grow some peppers, veggies, herbs, or maybe even a little tea garden. It's one of the small things I really enjoy, and I encourage everyone to do the same!

We're still mad at you for leaving us, but we're happy you're getting settled 🙃. Can't wait to see what this new adventure brings you! Much love my friend!
Grow Log Update #5
So I finally got another update on the grow log. Here's a link to the main thread: https://www.skool.com/green-valley-growhouse-6626/jakes-personal-grow-log I've been doing a terrible job of keeping this updated through flower! But the plants are looking solid and smelling fantastic. I'll make sure to get another update in when I go to harvest, and a post harvest breakdown too. I'll be moving pretty soon. But after that, the next round will be up & running ASAP. I'm going to make it a point to do weekly updates on a set schedule for that round. If anyone has checked out the main grow log this round, I have a few questions: - What do you find useful? - What do you find interesting? - Should I focus more on the educational side of growing in those updates, with my mindset / what I'm doing? Or should I focus on the results & some of the cool nuances of each plant? - Do you want an actual breakdown of my equipment, environment, nutrients, etc? (I feel like it's easy to get caught up in that stuff, but I know some folks want to know those things.) Obviously I love cannabis, and I love trying to teach people. But I'm still in the process of figuring out what people actually care about. Let me know! I'll do more of it. I didn't execute or record this round like I wanted to (in many ways haha), but I think it's useful as a demonstration that you can keep things super simple, and still grow some killer weed. Even if problems pop up. Thanks for being here regardless! Much love - Jake

I find most of what you say useful, but learning from your mistakes is probably what I find most useful. I love how much attention you pay to your plants and how you notice even the slightest differences between them. The smells, the growth patterns, the leaf differences etc. I find that incredibly interesting. I definitely appreciate both the educational side and the cool nuances. Having both sides of the coin, helps me to retain and remember the information for later. Personally, I would love breakdowns of youe setups. You clearly have a lot of knowledge to share, and have had a lot of success. Being a newer grower, its easy for me to spend way too much money, or put way more into it than maybe I need to. At the same time, maybe I'm not doing quite enough and I think having a guide from a more experienced grower would be a great tool. Then maybe I wouldn't bug you so much 🤣. I think you're doing a great job, and I've logged in more than once to access information to help with my grows, and not just for cannabis. I've used your tips and tricks for most of the plants I have, and I'm definitely noticing a positive difference. Much love, my friend!
Drying and curing process
Hello again bud buddies. Oh, the drying and curing process, how nervous you make me lol. I harvested my plants on the 1st, and hung them in my make shift tent. (my bathroom shower in our bedroom that we dont really use) So it's been almost 2 weeks. I have the humidifier set at 60%, and a small fan in there for air circulation thats pointed at the wall. My problem is, both plants seem REALLY dry, but when I try to do the snap test, they bend, they dont snap yet. Should I be concerned with how dry they seem, or will they get some of that moisture back during curing? Also, should I take them down and start curing them now, or still wait for the snap test to be successful? As always, any tips or tricks are appreciated! Much love.

@Jake Hudecek awesome, thank you so much for the feedback!
My Personal Grow Log - Season 1🌱🍃
I decided to make a Grow Log series that follows along with my indoor plants! There's a written section and a video for each update, talking about what I'm doing & my thought process behind everything. This will be a master "thread" that gets updated over time but I want to keep everything in one place and as organized as possible. If you have suggestions for how to do it better, let me know! Here's the details of my setup: ------------------------------- 🏠 Indoors ⛺ 4x4 Tent - AC Infinity ☀️ LED Lights - Highgrove Magnolia 6 or 8, I can't remember the name 🪱 Homemade living soil mix in 30 gal pots ; 2nd round in this soil (You can find the recipe in the Classroom) I'm starting from clone, using the original breeder's cuts (supposedly) of the following strains: Blue Dream GG #4 Lavender Madd Fruit These were preserved from the 90's - 2000's era from the original breeders (or someone in their circles), and are super special to me. I have a bunch of others to run through but these were the first ones ready. They're supposed to be some pretty elite cuts, and I'm honored to have been gifted them. I'll try to showcase cool traits as we go. ------------------------------- ⬇️ Everything below here will be grow log updates, numbered and roughly dated. The videos will be at the bottom of the post and labeled to match with the written posts. ⬇️ ------------------------------- ------------- 🌱 UPDATE #1 (December 25th) - Early Veg YouTube link: https://youtu.be/QhkxVZe90rE I haven’t done very much besides transplanting plants and watering a few times. I added some microbes as soon as I got plants in the soil but that's about it. It's a pain to mix your own soil, but if done correctly it does most of the work for you! I'm using "Rootwise Mycrobe Complete" as my microbes product right now, but I change it occasionally. It’s been about 10 days since the last watering, and I left them on their own for a week while I was out town without any problems.

Ok so maybe a stupid question, but how are you getting to the plants in the back of the tent to trim or treat or whatever? Especially now that they've gotten so big. Also, how do you feel about panda film to help with getting light reflected to the entire plant? Finally, thank you for all your hard work putting this together for us. I find it incredibly helpful! 😊
This weather..
Hey bud buddies! I wondered what y'all do in the event of rain when your plants are in flower? Mine are in the end stages of flowering, and I know moisture and flower is no bueno so I brought my babies inside. They are in smaller pots, so this is possible now, but I want to grow my set-up eventually and I'm curious what I would need to ensure success. Any and all tips are much appreciated! Much love.

@Jake Hudecek awesome, thank you good sir! I kind of figured once I have a bigger set up, I'm gonna risk that happening eventually. When we have our little chunk of yard sectioned off with the shade cloth, it's a little easier to protect them.
