Re-engaging a cold list / social media audience
What is the best way to re-engage a cold email list and/or social media audience? I haven't been present in my social media in quite a bit and when I show up it's been inconsistent flashes of "here I am" followed by long spurts of radio silence. If I come back with a "I'm here for real this time" message, they won't believe me (cuz I don't believe it either LOL). I'm having a mindset block around the fact that I haven't been showing up on my email list or my social media channels, and now that I am promoting offers for revenue, nobody will pay attention OR convert/ What has worked for you?

Make the Organic Content Machine Airtable Look Like Trello
Going through the Organic Content Machine and loving the Airtable that we get. HERE'S A HINT FOR TRELLO LOVERS: When you make a copy, you can make your Airtable look like Trello. Create a Kanban view. Then you can drag "cards" between columns (Idea, Outlined, In Progress, Edited, Scheduled, Published). Here's the link to the Airtable Help article if you want more details: https://support.airtable.com/docs/getting-started-with-airtable-kanban-views p.s. Consider making a Calendar view as well! You can switch between multiple views depending on what you need to see at the moment.

Saving myself $164/mo by going through memberships I'm not using...
Well, not a win for building my site, being consistent with content, or getting new clients BUT still a win for my business. I just cancelled or deferred or converted $164 per MONTH...RECURRING! And I have a few more memberships I may end. This past weekend I went through my YNAB for all my courses and memberships. For one group, I've been a member since 2017 (!) and I asked if I could just have Lifetime Member status. They're going to talk about it and get back to me, but they think yes. Another membership I will eventually use but it's not the right material for me at this time in my business, so I'm putting my membership on hold until May 15, 2025 and I'll re-evaluate then. Then the last two memberships I just cancelled because I literally never log in. (Don't worry, I'm staying here.) :-) Ideally, you're only using one card or one account for your business and keeping all your transactions separate. Take a few moments and go through your charges and see what else you can cancel. It feels good. And now I know I'm paying for what I'm actually using and not paying for things that stress me out because I'm trying to find the time but I can't.

How long to email list again before selling after 7 month hiatus
It has been 7 months since I emailed my list due to an unplanned long hiatus. I had envisioned having content batched and scheduled in advance for the time I knew I wouldn’t be able to work but I didn’t end up having the bandwidth for that earlier this year before I went on family leave and it didn’t happen, I simply sent one last email and didn’t even make an announcement that I would be taking a break. I’m finally feeling ready to get back to it and got Evergreen Everyday, I’m thinking of resuming having my hybrid group program for sale again with a simplified delivery format as well as a workshop bundle I sold in the past, and I’m brainstorming a 2nd low ticket offer (may just start with these 2 offers for now). I think I saw somewhere in the modules that your success will depend on how consistently you’ve been emailing your list. I had been sending at least weekly emails for about a year before going on leave. And less frequent but still consistent (1-2 monthly) for years before that. should I plan on having a period of time of just sending emails before I release anything for sale? If so how long would likely be a good amount of time for that? I will need to start back with weekly emails for awhile before I can carve out the time to batch daily emails further in advance.
3 days into 2024...
How are we feeling? Antsy? Calm? Excited? Overwhelmed? What are you working on this week? I'm easing into this new year (just writing out some goals and stuff today, better late than never!)

@Cori Willis I love this as well! I’ve noticed myself get into this pattern the last few years…I usually start the year traveling or at the very least in holidays mode. By 2/1 I’m usually more ready for a “reset” of sorts. I also think a hybrid approach is possible. Usually in January I participate in one or more 30 day challenges but don’t necessarily have all my goals set. I actually believe we can benefit from a reset any month of the year. Releasing the pressure to have my act fully together in January has really helped.
