Collaborating in Word Without Losing Control
If youโ€™re collaborating on a book, Track Changes in Microsoft Word is a must. Itโ€™s perfect when sending your manuscript to a proofreader, editor, or co-writer because you can see every suggested change and stay fully in control of whatโ€™s accepted. Even better โ€“ you can force someone to edit using Track Changes, so they have no option to make silent edits. How to force Track Changes in Word 1. Open your Word document 2. Go to the Review tab 3. Click Restrict Editing 4. Tick Allow only this type of editing in the document 5. From the dropdown, choose Tracked changes 6. Click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection 7. Set a password (optional but recommended) Now, anyone you send the document to can only edit using Track Changes. If you want more detail on reviewing changes, comments, or best practices for working with editors, ask AI or tag me in the comments โ€“ happy to help ๐Ÿ˜Š

The Growth Here is Explosive - WELCOME!
I am so grateful for the growth this group is experiencing ๐Ÿ”ฅ If you recently joinedโ€”so glad youโ€™re here. This community is for people who want to actually publish, not just think about it forever. You can ask questions at any stageโ€”idea, outline, writing, or already published. No gatekeeping here. Start here ๐Ÿ‘‡โžก๏ธ Check out FUTURE AUTHOR ENERGY That will help you get clear on your book topic to make your writing and marketing process easier. Introduce yourself in the comments: - Where are you from? - Have you published yet, or are you still in the idea phase? When you are ready to learn the full process of creating your title, formatting your files, designing a cover, and uploading your files to Amazon, then it's time to UPGRADE TO PREMIUM. I help people quieten self-doubt, shift limiting beliefs and build lasting confidence, so they can feel more capable, calm and empowered every day.
