Saturday mornings are parkrun day not bootsale day for me. But I was lucky to snipe these awesome jeans this morning at 6.23! So that is my bargain for the day. It’s also my 100th 5K parkrun and my 50th volunteer celebrated at Blackpool enjoying the 100th anniversary of Stanley Park. It’s also parkrun’s 22nd anniversary hence the tutu 🩰👗 Hope everyone has their own wins today 🥇

Does anyone remember the elves and the shoemaker. Maybe 😄… Yesterday I took 150 photos of 30 listings. A few prompts later, and this morning I’ve come into my office, sat down and found 30 perfectly drafted listings uploaded to eBay and Vinted. At 9am, the elves checked both sites for sales, updated accordingly. At 9.30, they will refresh, discount my oldest 20 listings. At 12.17, 17.17, 19.17 they will list the items in batches of 10. Then at 9pm tonight, they will begin another batch of photos. Chat GPT is using my computer to do my tasks in real time. No bots or software needed. It works and it’s incredible.

I haven’t shared for a little bit — the business has been a full-on whirlwind these last few weeks 🦆 When I was counting bags the other day, it hit me just how much we’ve actually shifted. Touching, sorting, compressing, packing, dragging, loading, unloading, then stacking everything as high as humanly possible… 7 tonnes moved in two weeks. Wild. And honestly, I thought it would have battered me more than it has. Maybe I’m just getting used to it now. I’m 43, so yeah, I’ve got a few niggles — but I genuinely couldn’t tell you whether they’re new ones or old rugby ones resurfacing 🤔😂 I don’t even know if there’s a big point to this post. I’m just really enjoying it. The graft, the pace, the physical side of it all. I think I’m actually enjoying the keep‑fit element of the job. Hope everyone's good and doing there best to step away from the desk each day 🦆

This is probably the biggest update we've made since launching Behind The Listings, so please give this one a read — particularly if you're currently on the Standard membership. After a lot of conversations between me & @Simon Smith , and after speaking openly with the guys on last night's Q&A, we've made the decision that: From Monday 5th October, Behind The Listings will become a 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱-𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. That means the current $19/month membership will become the standard BTL membership, and the standard membership will be removed. I want to explain properly why we're doing this, because this genuinely isn't simply about putting the group behind a paywall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘? 👀 When we launched BTL around two months ago, the idea was to build a big free reseller community with an optional Premium membership sitting within it. And honestly... the growth has been ridiculous. We've gone from nothing to 650+ members in a matter of weeks 🤯 We've absolutely loved seeing all the introductions, questions, pickups, wins and conversations — and there are some genuinely brilliant people in here. But actually running the community every single day has made us realise something. We don't want to build the biggest reseller community possible. We want to build the BEST one we possibly can. A smaller, hyper-focused community of people who genuinely care about reselling, want to improve, get involved, share knowledge and help each other. The free side has grown so quickly that both me and Simon have started feeling increasingly stretched trying to keep up with introductions, questions, comments, messages and everything else that comes with it. That's on us — nobody is demanding that we reply to everything! 😅 But we genuinely care about this community, so when somebody asks for help, we feel a responsibility to try and help them.
