Is the art of negotiation/haggling dead on FB Marketplace?
I'm selling an old Hitachi Radio Cassette Player (everywhere but this is about FBM). Its listed as £25 taking offers. Guy msg's me saying "I'll only use it once, will you take £15". Brilliant I thought, we're starting negotiations. I'm willing to take £18 for it, so msg back saying "I'll come down to £20 cash on collection"..crickets, nothing. Now seems to of blocked me so cant msg him again 🤦 this is the second time this has happened (one before was for something up at £100, they offered £60, I contered with £80, and blocked) 😂

I sell a lot on MP. I can honestly say it happens 20% of the time. That said, personally I wouldn’t put taking offers on. Set price, if someone makes an offer, I respond with how quickly can you collect, I’m in Stithians? This is sometimes ignored. I don’t let it affect me, the sale rate is much stronger than Vinted per enquiry.

Flat lay vs Hanging Effect sales ?
Wonder what everyone’s opinions on this are, I’ve went from my flat lay to starting this week off by just hanging items. (Inspired by sully) by doing this I managed double my listings in the same amount of time. Wondering if the presentation of items will change my sales. All items are still streamed or ironed just not laid out and folded in funky ways

Great question. I went back to hanging, found laying slowed me down way to much. Haven’t noticed any difference in sales. I’ll buy clothes based on quality and price. Not so much the photo. I think 99% are the same.

Im the best husband, father and most successful when I'm putting myself first. Sleep better, eat better, drink more (water 😀), don’t be too hard on myself. Goals for this week. 🎯 Return to breathwork once a day (30 minutes). It’s been a while. 🎯 Time block during my first morning coffee each day. This worked really well in the past - not sure why I stopped. 🎯 List a minimum of 20 items a day. 🎯 Find 1 new supplier!
