@Meredith Barrington @Jeff Wood I have recently started taking swim lessons. I have had and still have anxiety and panic issues when I am in the pool (due to near drowning in the past ). Thanks to your wonderful relaxation techniques that keep me sane. It has been 15 - 1 hour sessions so far and currently I am working hard on kicking with head down. But apparently my legs don't seem to raise to the surface level and I end up kicking most of the time inside water causing drag. I don't seem to move at all. It gives me hope after reading your comment here that kicking is not to be given much importance to create forward movement. But my swim instructors feel otherwise. Hopefully I need to work harder on my kicks to progress to learning hand movements. Thanks once again for your valuable videos on swimming lessons !! They keep me going !!
