🍎 NEW FREE COURSE IN BAKER'S INSIDER! 🍎
Caramel Apple Magic: Sell the Experience, Not Just the Dessert! I've just added a brand-new FREE mini-course to the Classroom, and this one is a little different! Because we're not making recipes. We're creating OPPORTUNITIES! Here's the idea... What if you could take something as simple as caramel apple nachos and turn it into a beautifully packaged, ready-to-enjoy family experience? Think pumpkin carving nights, fall movie marathons, family traditions, and cozy evenings together. Now imagine selling a kit that takes all the shopping, chopping, crushing, and preparation off Mom's plate so she can actually ENJOY those moments with her family. THAT'S what we're creating! 🍏 WHO IS THIS FOR? - Home bakers looking for something different to offer their customers. - Farm stand owners wanting to increase sales with seasonal add-on products. - Bakers interested in partnering with local farms, pumpkin patches, or markets. - Anyone looking for creative ways to stand out without adding another complicated dessert to their menu. - 🍎 WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? Inside this six-lesson course, we're covering: ✔️ How to turn a simple dessert idea into a sellable experience. ✔️ What to include in your kits and how to structure them. ✔️ Packaging ideas and where to source supplies. ✔️ Creative flavor combinations that make your kits stand out. ✔️ How to MARKET the experience instead of just listing ingredients. ✔️ Simple, inexpensive extras like conversation starter cards, coloring pages, and family activities that can increase the perceived value of your kits. I'm even including copy-and-paste AI prompts to help you create some of those extras yourself! And here's what I really want you to understand... This isn't about everyone making identical caramel apple kits. It's about learning to recognize opportunities. Sometimes customers aren't paying you because they can't make something themselves. They're paying you because you've made it easier for them to enjoy something they already wanted to do.

DAY 1 DISCUSSION: Did You Start a Bakery or Just Start Selling?
Welcome to our first Bakery Business Lab discussion! If you've completed Day 1 of "You Started a Bakery. Now What?", you've probably started thinking about your business a little differently. Now I want to hear from you! First, how did your bakery actually begin? Did you have a business plan? Or did someone tell you your desserts were amazing and you should start selling them? Second, what's ONE thing you want your bakery to accomplish in the next 12 months? It doesn't have to be a huge goal. It just needs to be YOUR goal. And if you're comfortable sharing, tell us what's currently standing in your way. Remember, we're not here to compete with one another. We're here to learn from each other's experiences and build better businesses together. I'll be reading your responses and jumping into the conversations! Haven't completed Day 1 yet? Head to Classroom → Bakery Marketing & Sales → You Started a Bakery. Now What? to get started. The entire series is FREE!

I have been doing giant stuffed cookies at farmer’s markets for about four years now. There are so many people selling cookies at them now so I wanted to try a different path and new items. I’m loving the cookie pies and so are my samplers. 🥰 Thank you so much for creating this community.

I’m from Memphis, Tennessee. It’s known for BBQ. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m testing something new in Baker’s Insider 👀
When I created Baker’s Insider, I knew I wanted it to be a place where I could share recipes, ideas, and things I’ve learned from building my bakery. But I also think there’s a MUCH bigger opportunity here. We have bakers at all different stages, in different markets, trying different things. Imagine what we could learn if we actually started talking to each other more. Sharing what worked. Sharing what flopped. 😂 Posting what you made. Asking for feedback. Bouncing ideas off each other. And REALLY digging into the part I’m especially passionate about—how we actually SELL what we bake. Because we aren't here to compete with each other. We're here to help each other build successful bakeries. So... I'm testing something. 👀 Skool has a points and levels system that rewards you for participating in the community. When other members like your posts and comments, you earn points and move up through the levels. And I'm going to start experimenting with putting some special recipes and resources behind Level Unlocks. 🔓 The first one is officially live: ✨ Butterbeer Scoopable Blondies ✨ It’s completely FREE—you just need to reach Level 2 to unlock it. So how do you get there? Participate. Show us what you're baking. Post something you made from the Recipe Index. Ask a question. Answer somebody else's. Share something that's working in your bakery. Share something that ISN'T working and let us help you figure out why. Comment. Encourage another baker. And when you see another baker contributing something useful, interesting, helpful—or delicious—give their post or comment a like. That's how we help each other earn points. I'm not even completely sure where I'm going with this yet. 😂 This is genuinely an experiment. But I want to see what happens when Baker’s Insider becomes less of a place we come to get stuff and more of a place we come to DO bakery business together. So we're testing it. And apparently I'm bribing you with Butterbeer Scoopable Blondies. 😂🔓
