I just want to let you all know that I will not be posting much in the next few weeks. I am trying to get things situated with my grandson going back to school and dealing with these Illinois storms I am not able to get into my computer. Also, as some of you know, I had cataract surgery with lens implants in April and May. It is not going as planned. I am not able to see clearly. My vision is the same if not worse than when I wore glasses. Everything is blurry. I have an eye appointment next week to see what they have to say. I will update when I can. I have been working on getting my digital images ready for Etsy, and making sure they are truly 300 DPI in Canva has been a little confusing. Today I started using Affinity, and oh my goodness—it is so much easier! 🙌 I can clearly set the size, change the DPI to 300, and export the file without wondering whether I did it correctly. That alone has saved me so much frustration. For anyone creating printable designs, notebook covers, or other digital products, remember that the pixel dimensions are still very important. Changing the DPI number does not automatically improve a small or low-quality image—but Affinity makes it much easier to see and control the settings before exporting.
