Sorry I have been absent lately.
I just want to let you all know that I will not be posting much in the next few weeks. I am trying to get things situated with my grandson going back to school and dealing with these Illinois storms I am not able to get into my computer. Also, as some of you know, I had cataract surgery with lens implants in April and May. It is not going as planned. I am not able to see clearly. My vision is the same if not worse than when I wore glasses. Everything is blurry. I have an eye appointment next week to see what they have to say. I will update when I can. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I've been MIA too, trying to get my butt in gear to do png's again lol. Take care of yourself
Can We Talk About 300 DPI for a Minute? 😅
I have been working on getting my digital images ready for Etsy, and making sure they are truly 300 DPI in Canva has been a little confusing. Today I started using Affinity, and oh my goodness—it is so much easier! 🙌 I can clearly set the size, change the DPI to 300, and export the file without wondering whether I did it correctly. That alone has saved me so much frustration. For anyone creating printable designs, notebook covers, or other digital products, remember that the pixel dimensions are still very important. Changing the DPI number does not automatically improve a small or low-quality image—but Affinity makes it much easier to see and control the settings before exporting. Have you ever struggled with DPI in Canva? What program do you use to prepare your files for Etsy or any POD provider—Canva, Affinity, Photoshop, or something else? Let’s help each other in the comments! 💻✨

I use photo pea since its great for opening zip files all at once and then i save as 300 dpi. I use to use clideo alot. Does Affinity do them in bulk? I've been meaning to find out but havent gotten back to it.
📢 Prompt to Generator LIVE — Rescheduling Update
I wanted to give everyone an update on our Prompt to Generator LIVE that was scheduled for Wednesday, July 29. Unfortunately, I am going to need to reschedule the LIVE. I'm doing better, but I'm still not quite able to sit comfortably long enough to give you the workshop that I had planned — and I don't want to rush through it or give you anything less than my best. The good news is... 🍂 Prompt to Generator LIVE is NOT canceled! We're still going to take the Cozy Autumn prompt that YOU helped build and turn it into our Canva Code Generator together. I just need a little more time before I'm ready to sit through the full LIVE. 📅 I will announce the new date as soon as I know I'm ready. Thank you so much for understanding and being patient with me. ❤️ Our first Prompt to Generator LIVE is still coming — just a little later than we originally planned! 🍂✨

ChatGPT
Is anyone else having arguments with Chatty? It is not giving me the information I need or creating images. Did know if it was just me as we are getting bad storms here in Illinois. Hope you all are staying safe from the heat and/or storms.

@Donna Maclyn haha I was asking it what is wrong with you. I could see on my end though that it was saying while I was trying to generate the image it was saying sketching not working, which told me it wasn’t gonna work. Nothing was coming up. I don’t even know how I got these two images to generate.

🎃✨ WEEKLY PROMPT CHALLENGE — Q4 EDITION! ✨🎃
We may still be enjoying summer, but as creators, it's time to start getting those Q4 ideas flowing! And we're definitely NOT starting Q4 quietly. 😂 This week's challenge is all about Halloween + Western + BLING! Think rhinestones, glitter, chrome, turquoise, spooky details, and enough sparkle to make this design impossible to ignore. 🤠💎 THIS WEEK'S PROMPT: Glam Haunted Cowgirl Create a bold, high-impact Halloween t-shirt design featuring a glamorous cowgirl skeleton dressed in an extravagant black rhinestone western hat, sparkling fringe jacket, layered turquoise jewelry, and a dramatic glitter belt buckle. She is holding a large jeweled jack-o'-lantern overflowing with black roses, burnt-orange sunflowers, dark burgundy florals, glittering spiderwebs, and tiny sparkling skulls. Add oversized metallic bats, crystal stars, rhinestone crescent moons, scattered gemstones, black glitter drips, chrome accents, and bursts of shimmering gold dust around the composition. Include the phrase “BOOTS, BLING & SPOOKY THINGS” in large statement typography combining distressed western lettering with glossy black glitter, burnt-orange rhinestones, metallic gold edging, and dimensional 3D shadows. Use a dramatic palette of jet black, burnt orange, deep turquoise, burgundy, antique gold, and flashes of iridescent crystal. Maximum sparkle, rich texture, dramatic dimension, edgy western Halloween boutique aesthetic, highly detailed, polished commercial t-shirt graphic, centered composition, isolated on a clean white background, no mockup, no shirt. ✨ NOW MAKE IT YOURS! Don't feel like you have to use the prompt exactly as written. That's part of the challenge! Change the character. Change the saying. Switch up the colors. Turn western into gothic glam. Add even MORE bling. 💎 Run it through your favorite AI platform and drop your result in the comments. And tell us what platform you used—I LOVE seeing how differently each AI interprets the same prompt! Let's officially kick off some Q4 creating! 🎃🤠✨

Not brand new etsy seller, but not extremely seasoned either. Looking forward to doing better in 2026!
