🎄✨ WEEKLY PROMPT CHALLENGE — CHRISTMAS GLAM EDITION! ✨🎄
First, I want to say thank you for your patience with me lately. ❤️ As you know, I am having some difficulty with my vision, which has slowed me down. I have an eye appointment on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll know more after that. I have not been in the computer lately but I definitely didn't want us to miss our Weekly Prompt Challenge! Since we're creating ahead for Quarter 4, we're jumping into CHRISTMAS this week. And you know me...we aren't doing plain and simple. This week's challenge is Christmas Nutcracker Glam, and we're bringing ALL the bling! THIS WEEK'S PROMPT: Create a bold, extravagant luxury Christmas t-shirt design featuring one magnificent full-body vintage nutcracker as the dominant centerpiece. Give the nutcracker an ornate deep emerald-green velvet military jacket covered in intricate metallic-gold embroidery, sparkling rhinestones, crystal gemstones, pearl details, jeweled buttons, gold braided trim, and dramatic shoulder epaulettes. Add rich ruby-red velvet pants and an elaborate tall black-and-gold crown encrusted with red, emerald, and clear crystals. Place an oversized luxurious red velvet bow at the base of the nutcracker with cascading ribbon, sparkling rhinestone edging, gold embroidery, and a large vintage jeweled brooch in the center. Frame the nutcracker with lush Christmas greenery, frosted pine branches, deep-red poinsettias, oversized jeweled ornaments, golden bells, candy-cane accents, crystal snowflakes, tiny glowing Christmas lights, and elegant curling ribbons. Add dramatic bursts of chunky glitter, scattered rhinestones, sparkling diamonds, metallic-gold splashes, crystal starbursts, shimmering snow, and brilliant light reflections throughout the design. Include the phrase “MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT” in large statement typography. Make “BRIGHT” the showstopper—oversized dimensional lettering covered in brilliant clear rhinestones and crystals with metallic-gold edging, glitter highlights, and dramatic 3D depth. Use elegant coordinating typography for “Making Spirits.”

Sorry I have been absent lately.
I just want to let you all know that I will not be posting much in the next few weeks. I am trying to get things situated with my grandson going back to school and dealing with these Illinois storms I am not able to get into my computer. Also, as some of you know, I had cataract surgery with lens implants in April and May. It is not going as planned. I am not able to see clearly. My vision is the same if not worse than when I wore glasses. Everything is blurry. I have an eye appointment next week to see what they have to say. I will update when I can. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A Little Behind-the-Scenes Update 💻✨
I have been a little under the weather with a summer cold, so I may be quieter than usual—but I am still working behind the scenes! 🤧💛 I have been reviewing and updating several of the modules inside the community to make them easier for beginners to follow, more organized, and filled with helpful information you can actually use. Some lessons have been refreshed, a few pages have been renamed or reorganized, and I am continuing to work through the remaining modules a little at a time. Be sure to take another look through the classroom because you may notice some new information and changes! 👀 Is there a module you have been enjoying, or one you are hoping to work through soon? Let me know in the comments!

PNG, JPG, or PDF—Which One Should You Use? 🤔
Creating the design is only part of preparing a digital product. You also need to choose the correct file type for how the customer will use it. ✨ PNG – Best for graphics, shirt designs, stickers, cup wraps, and images that need a transparent background. ✨ JPG – Best for photographs, mockups, and images that do not need a transparent background. JPG files are usually smaller, but they can lose some quality when repeatedly saved. ✨ PDF – Best for printables, planners, worksheets, instructions, and files the customer needs to print without accidentally moving the design elements. Before saving your product, ask yourself: What will the customer be doing with this file? Choosing the right file type can make your product easier to use and help prevent confused customer messages later. Which file type do you use the most in your business? 💻

@Donna Maclyn I never thought about doing PDF for files over 20mb for Etsy. I just put them on a google drive.

@Donna Maclyn Don't be sorry. I get what you are saying now. I use a pdf with my google drive link also.
