5 ways to use the Emotional Intelligence Challenge
This week @Tammy Faulds and @Nikki Pearson were talking about the 30 Day Challenges from the Classroom and suggested that a challenge of 30 days might feel too long for some clients. (You can read the post here 😊) It got me thinking about how this resource can be used in day-to-day coaching. If 30 days feels too long, instead of giving clients the full challenge, you could take just one page and use it as a weekly coaching exercise. Example using the 30-Day Emotional Intelligence Challenge: A client struggles with emotional reactions in conversations. You could use the exercise where they pause during the day and write down: ⭐ what emotion they felt ⭐ what caused it Then you review the pattern together in the next session and this page becomes a coaching tool. Or you might use just the first 5 days of the challenge as a short client exercise. The templates are fully editable, so pages can be removed or adjusted to fit your coaching style. I wrote a short help sheet showing a few ways this challenge could be used inside coaching sessions. If you'd like a copy of the help sheet, grab it here. The full Emotional Intelligence Challenge is available inside Premium, along with the full coaching template library you can edit and use with your clients. Tell me, how would you use something like this with your clients?

How do you run your coaching sessions?
Quick poll for the coaches here 👇 I’m curious how you all run your coaching sessions 👀 Do you tend to follow a structure, keep things more conversational, or change things depending on the client? Vote in the poll below ⬇️ And if you want to share, tell us one thing you always include in a session. I’d love to hear how different people approach it 😊

@Kim Lee-Own yes to this. Asking that everyday question a second time often gives a much more thoughtful answer 💛

Tell me what you'd like to see added
I’m currently planning the next set of resources to create for you. Anything new I build from your requests will be added inside the Premium tier (alongside the done-for-you courses and full PLR templates). So this is your chance to shape what goes in next. I know many of you have said you’re building an ecosystem in your business or a range of offers that work together, like free content, group programs, courses, and digital products. If that’s you, I’d love to know what piece feels missing right now. So tell me, what coaching resources would you like to see added? You might need: - A workbook on a specific topic - A complete mini course you can brand and sell - Session plans for 1:1 or group programs - Sales page or email templates - Social media templates for a certain niche - Something else entirely What would save you the most time or help you sell more easily? (And if you’re not in Premium yet, now is the best time to join 😉 The price is at an early rate while I’m still building the community and adding new resources. You can join here and lock in this lower price as the community grows.) Share what would fit into your wider offer and I’ll use your replies to plan the next releases. Thanks for shaping this with me 💛

@Nikki Pearson that’s really helpful. @Georgia Arharidis mentioned something similar in another thread about wanting short, focused tools as well. It’s a really good point. Short, practical resources that focus on implementation and exercises to support coaching rather than more information. This will definitely shape how I create resources for you all going forward.

@Tammy Faulds these are such good ideas. Grief, loss and loneliness feel very relevant as many people are carrying some version of this at the moment. And thank you for saying that about the Gratitude challenge. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the tools and resources in the Premium tier of the classroom. It makes me so happy knowing they’re useful for you. 😊
What do you avoid?
I’ve noticed something about myself lately. There’s always something in my business that I keep quietly avoiding. 🤔 So, I'm curious. How would you complete this sentence for you and your business? “I really need a template for ______ because ______.” (What you avoid + the excuse you use.) I’ll go first in the comments 😅

@Debi Siciliano you're absolutely right and this is just what I needed to hear right now.

@Tina Forbes yes - feeling understood is a big part of why people decide to work with someone.
