I was laid off as well and it's been a battle to continuously remind myself that it happened in the best way possible. Had I just quit, I wouldn't have received the severance and extended benefits that I did. While I'm still weathering the storm, I know the ways things happened, I have no complaints.. well not many, lol

I've got snacks and charging devices now, so I'm good. Yes, praying the power stays on as well.
