Morning Motivation - Thursday, Nov 27th! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃☀️⚽ Thanksgiving is a time for family, food, and—hopefully—some soccer on TV. Best of luck to all our members who are organizing and preparing for big showcase events this weekend. Let’s make it count! ⚽ Before You Attend Before heading to your showcase, ask yourself these critical questions: - Do the coaches already know who your kid is? - Have they seen your athlete’s highlight videos? - Is there a better than 50% chance this showcase will move your recruiting process forward? If you haven’t reached out to coaches beforehand, you might be invisible. Take the time to email them, introduce your athlete, and share their story. Hi Folks, Hope all is well! Just a couple of important points to note: 1️⃣ Transfer Portal Alert (Female Side): Please check out the post about the transfer portal. A school losing 14 players in one season is a massive red flag.For comparison: I coached at Quinnipiac for 18 years, and in that time, we may have had 4 players total enter the portal.14 in one season? That’s a 🚩 MASSIVE red flag! 👉 Check out the schools with 7+ players in the portal 2️⃣ Event Schedules for Social Media: If you have an event coming up and want us to post your schedule on social media, please send us the schedule via a link (not copy-paste). This helps us track team logos and other details. - Deadline: Try to send it at least 1 week before the event to give us enough time to create the post. Chloe reached out to us a few weeks ago, mentioning she wanted to move on from Canisius... and we got to work! Her journey has taken her all the way from Australia to Canisius in upstate New York, and now onto the bright lights of Purdue.
