Just Gratitude for the Game 🏆
I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to put this here, but I feel its a win for both me, the Game community and Skool overall, and I'll ask for forgiveness later, if I have to.. 😉 Having only been on Skool for 48 jours, and obviously feeling quite daunted by the whole thing, I just wanted to take a quick opportunity to say what an absolutely amazing community this is, and how welcoming and supportive everyone has been. 🙌 Special thanks go to the awesome @Jack Shiller, with whom I have literally just had a call, after he kindly offered to help me understand a little more about the process. This guy was an absolute boss at listening to my questions, and really helpful with offering suggestions when it came to what my aspirations were with regards to Skool, discussing my own Matrix game plans, and refining my focus etc. 👍 Also, massive gratitude to the legendary LinkedIn legend @Sam Rathling too as she was literally the first person to jump on a call with me to welcome me in. 👋 Not only did she spend time helping me understand how to increase my LinkedIn SSI (Sales Service Index, I think that's right ?) so I could get more engagement, but she also gave me so much information about the types of groups that could be found, how the processes worked, leaderboards, etc, and has continued to offer so much support in her own community as well. 🙏 Others who have also been really helpful and supportive: @Lukas Schmidt @Bill Widmer @Sofiya Pierce & @Reid Richardson 🙏 If this is the first 48 hours, then I am so pleased to have found this place, and I cannot wait to see what happens in 6 months time. Thanks so much. 👍🫶

Thank you @Abir Raiyan 🙏
Is there a skill you've been building a little extra this week?
I called with @Lukas Schmidt and in that call he: connected me with people that can guide me in the right direction, organized my ideas and thinking, and talked me through my current obstacles. I called with @Sam Rathling and she gave me monetization and offer ideas, encouraged me through relating her own experiences, and literally gave me full business mentorship on the spot! More on that to come... but this is a post to express my appreciation for that and share how they helped me move through confusion and doubt, because I feel like that's been one of the main obstacles for me throughout the networking and discovery calls. I'd say self-confidence, especially while speaking, is the main skill I've been honing in on this week. Now I worry much less and just commit to the best words I can come up with so that I can be forward-moving and helpful overall to whoever I'm connecting with. There are obviously lots of other qualities, listening often being the most important one, but I'd love to know if there's a particular skill/strength you've been building lately this week! 👇

Hey @Jack Shiller if I'm completely honest, the new skill is Skool 🤯 Having only joined a couple of days ago, I've been trying to learn as much as I can, and connect with amazing people which so far has been both exciting and exhausting. 😮‍💨 Fortunately, the videos from people like @Lukas Schmidt in their communities have been really helpful, and individuals like @Sam Rathling have also been really supportive with their time and even jumped on a call with me to explain, so is going well so far, I think 🤞 It's great to see that we have a huge appreciation for the same people and I would love to connect with you to learn more about your community, too. 🤝

@Jack Shiller, thank you so much for your reply. That would be amazing, but only if you have the time, as wouldnt want to disrupt your day. Perhaps I can message if ok ? Thanks again 🙏
What's your favorite GIF?
Before Skool, I thought GIFs were pretty silly. And they were, but with Skool, I've realized that I like to be part of the fun. What's your favorite GIF and why?

For me, any GIF with Will Ferrell is perfect, but this one will be my all time fave..

What is the name of your Journey?
Everybody is on a journey to somewhere. Maybe you want to become the best fitness coach, or the most awesome community builder on Skool like @Lukas Schmidt. I find it powerful to give such a journey a name—it keeps things fun and gives you a sense of direction and purpose. When I think about my own journey, I’m reminded of a vision exercise I once did at a self-development seminar. That exercise resulted in the following narrative: I was an arrogant prince—lonely and lost—but I saw a vision in which I traveled to many countries and made friends along the way. I envisioned that this journey would span about 10 to 20 years, and therefore I called it an Epic. I would name my journey: Journey to Excellence. So, I’m curious—how would you name your journey? Or what would your ideal questline be called?

@Melvin Zhang I had a few personal hurdles that I had chat to someone to overcome, and it was them who suggested that i got assessed. 18 months later I was told that I had ADHD, and ASD, so when they was clear, it then helped me to balance things out for a way that suited me.

Thanks for your message @Reid Richardson and is great to meet you too. I think that because we perhaps love a puzzle, we naturally like to find solutions and overcome obstacles.. I like to look at things as improbable, but not always impossible.
