It gets easier
72 videos later, and making these videos is now so fun I can basically make them on a daily basis and edit on device. The key is to create a way of doing it for yourself that's fun. In my case my videos are shot in 15 to 20 second chunks on different locations through the day with smooth transitions between shots. Lately I've been playing with viral hooks for the fun of it. You'll be surprised how well these skills translate to paid ads once you start shooting those. Recommended apps for editing: Capcut or Filmora. Both can also auto caption for you.

58 videos in ... Now on a 5 to 7 video a week spree.
Making these videos is FUN, the secret is just to get started. I'm 58 videos in and I'm refining my style and delivery with each one to the point where it takes me less than 30 minutes to do each daily video :) The first video will definitely hurt, and it will suck. Just record it and post. 3 months from now you'll be glad you did.

Already on my tenth video!
Making videos is a whole different kinda fun. Already on my tenth video in 2 weeks. I generally aim for a minimum of 5 videos a week, though I have 2 more I shot but haven't edited yet. My editing workflow is fully mobile and streamlined. Doesn't take more than a few minutes to edit the clips and post them. Sometimes when I have several ideas, I actually record them in a row and save them separately. Once you get into a groove... This stuff is fun. Here's a few tips from my protocol: 1- wrote down all ideas into a notepad app on your phone. 2- batch record when possible, if you have plenty of ideas just record them sequence then upload day by day. 3- if you're going the editing route, keep your process as simple as possible. The more steps the more points for you to drop off. I edit exclusively in Filmora android (bought the perpetual license). 4- The only other app I use is Capcut for captions (capcut can autocaption videos and it's 100%, yay for VC money funding our tools!) 5- I use a Ringlight with a stand to hold my phone. I use a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra so the pen can be used to start recording remotely, allowing for a faster workflow. 6- I don't bother with fancy microphones, too much tech in the way. 7- A selfie stick with legs that can prop on a table is another useful tool I have. Makes it easy to just use any random table at home. 8- The Geometric pocket tripod is a credit card sized tripod for phones, and can fit in your wallet. This gives me a mini stand to mount my phone if I want to record out of the office. 9- Using music is a total minefield. I just make 2 final edits of my videos. One for TikTok without music, and one with music for everywhere else. TikTok will mute all videos longer than 2.5minutes with music. I just use creative commons attribution tracks from Lakey Inspired, and the 300 songs for creators I got from David Cutter (his whole discography is $10, free to use just credit him). 10- Have fun, be animated, dance a little before playing record and really get into the groove. How excited you are in the video is how excited your audience will be watching it.
Already on my tenth video!
My Intro!
Hey guys! I'm an email copywriter and have been looking into making video content. I already have a daily email newsletter, so it felt natural to use the same creativity in video (which is why I got this program). Just recorded my first video and preparing to upload it :) Gonna buy the full version of Filmora mobile so I can edit my content on my phone. Now I just need a convenient way to caption my creation, otherwise might have to get Filmora desktop for that. I enjoy editing so it's no biggie on my part.

@Bill Cook For the most part, I'm niche agnostic. But I enjoy writing for the personal development niche. I have done work in the local lead gen niche and enjoyed it.

@Jordan Blackman Samsung galaxy S22 Ultra. Using Filmora to edit :)
I AM SO PUMPED!!!
This is my third week in a row of exporting vids that I shot after taking one little course. Write the scripts, shoot them, edit them, schedule and post! And the quality just gets better the more I practice.
