Hey everyone,Iām really excited because I have finally managed to build my first AI Voice Agent designed to help retail shop owners run their shops more effectively. Iām using ElevenLabs as the voice front-end and n8n as the backend powering all the automations. After a lot of testing, everything is now running smoothly. I had originally tried using VAPI AI, but I ran into several configuration challenges along the way. That will be my next mission because I still want to integrate it later when I understand it better. Another big challenge has been making the voice agent feel truly Kenyan. Getting the fluency, the personality, and the local slang rightāthings like āVipi mkuuā (Hello Sir) āniaje,ā (Hello) āMaquelaā (Beautiful ladies) āunadaiā(What do you want) has been harder than I expected. But Iām still hopeful and learning. For those of you who have built voice agents before, how do you personalize them to match local cultures, accents or slangs? Any ideas, tools or approaches youāve used that worked well? Iād really appreciate your insights.
