I just posted a TikTok video using this phrase, so if you’ve seen it, this will help it make more sense 😊 Although tomar means “to take”, tomar algo is usually used to mean to have a drink or to go out for something casual (often a drink, sometimes a small bite). Examples in context: - ¿Quieres tomar algo? Do you want to grab a drink? - Vamos a tomar algo después del trabajo. Let’s go for a drink after work. - Quedamos para tomar algo esta tarde.
