Where someone can buy something from you and then unsubscribe from your list (because they've got access to their product through Kajabi or Clickfunnels portals) ... If we deliver our courses in the classroom? Folks have to stay in the group to keep access to the courses they bought. So they're effectively always 'on our list'. Reason #50-11 why a Skool community beats an email list if you can only build one or the other? (But you should build both.)

I invited several people to either join my Skool community or to follow my Substack newsletter. I have the option to do paid or free on my Substack and one of the people chose the paid option a few days ago. I was a bit confused because I didn't think it was actually paid until today when I got a stripe notification that the money was delivered to my account. It ain't much but it is certainly encouraging.
