Tried another version of the bowl of oranges I did last week—closer up view. Also tried painting wet into dry for a different look.

Challenges: I still have difficulty judging how light or dark a color will dry. The mountains in the background were supposed to be super light so that the figure would stand out better. Instead they dried a couple of shades darker than I intended.

I know this is a watercolor class, but I couldn't make this work in my head. I'm not slacking! Acrylic 3/25/26

Experimenting with different techniques—Freeform (no drawing), paint splatter, intentional cauliflowers, etc. Not easy letting go!
