Video or Podcast Coaching
How many of you have hired coaches to help you in your video and/or podcasting efforts? Did you find it helpful? Did you find it worth the investment? If cost wasn't a limiting factor, what would you love to have someone teach you how to do?

I haven't but podcasting setup would be something of interest.

Using Shorts to Test Ideas
I mentioned in a post last week that I had a tiktok video go viral. I then had a second video go viral on an entirely different topic. Both went viral because there was tons of comments and engagement--positive and negative to the idea I was presenting. Both of these clips were 30-60 second parts of a 30+ minute long form video on a range of topics. I now plan to create stand alone long form videos on those topics and post additional content on those ideas. My general content framework now goes something like this. general long form video. -->. short form clips --> focused long form and other content on topics that succeeded with clips.

That's a great way to go about it.
My Biggest Regret
I hope everyone had a great weekend and you're ready to attack the week ahead! What did you all do this weekend? I took the kids fishing in the boat on Sunday, but a lot of the weekend was spent doing chores around our house and property and getting kids ready for school. I spent a lot of time deploying more and more AI in my practice, especially Claude. And I had a chance to really dig in to my Go High Level account and using the AI with that to update my contact list and it was amazing! If there's one thing I really regret not doing sooner was building and nurturing my list. At the end of the day, your list or group of people in your circle of influence is the one thing that can make or break your dreams and goals. I should have started a long time ago, but it's better late than never!

@Craig Steger yeah I have heard good things about it. The only down side is transitioning away from it. I have considered getting it myself to learn more about it and work with. I agree it has so many features you can use.
The power of video for Google and AI search
For my legal practice, google remains the most coveted real estate for gaining new clients, organically. Traditionally and presently, the main tool generally used for this is website SEO content, and google business profile activity--especially with google reviews. I do both of these, but the time and cost to gain traction on either of these tends to be slow and heavy. I rely heavily on video to try to amplify those tools, but also more quickly penetrate new markets before or sometimes as a substitute for SEO or GBP content. I'm currently in a 1 1/2 week campaign to develop a presence in a new market where I have no existing SEO or GBP content. I began with long form, SEO rich youtube videos, followed by posting those same videos natively to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. I'm genuinely shocked at how heavily google (and the AI models) value and pull from Facebook and Instagram videos, even when I have an identical native YouTube video. I'm seeing great results already in less than 2 weeks and it continues to improve a little each day. I'll be doing an extended article and/or video discussing it once I've completed the initial phase of this campaign.

Video has a ton of reach and great for SEO.
Simple is the new premium
One of the reasons I named this place Simple Video Systems is that I have found that simplicity beats features almost every time. I'll give some examples. Yesterday I got a chance to drive dump truck in a new location and my target legal market. So getting some footage of that was really appealing to me, so I brought along my Insta 360 X5 and just stuck the camera to various parts of the truck. I didn't have to worry about whether it was pointed in the right direction or lighting. It captures it all and then I can use it later. With respect to the talking head videos, I've gone through all the extremes. I started out recording with just my laptop and a USB blue yeti mic all the way to a Rodecaster and then a Rodecaster video. All kinds of features. But I don't have the time to figure them out or remember them. So I just go with the simple functions. I need to be able to sit down when I have some spare time, turn things on, and record reasonably high quality. Today I'll be trying out a new system that should hopefully re-simplify my process. I'll post more once I have a chance to try it out.

Simple is usually what we can stick with. That is half the battle.
