Hi, I’m Jama!
Hi, my name is Jama, and I’m excited to be a new dispatcher starting my journey in the trucking industry! I plan on making $9,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course and community: 1. Learn how to confidently find and book loads. 2. Understand how to build strong relationships with carriers and brokers. 3. Grow my dispatching business to reach my income goals. For fun, I like to do these 3 things: 1. Spend time with family and friends. 2. Listen to music and explore new places. 3. Learn new skills that help me grow personally and professionally.

Welcome to the community, Fortune.
Business is tough.
We are owner/operators so we are carriers and also dispatch our drivers. Our driver just totaled a truck we are leasing. We are just devastated. We were already at $14,000 revenue just this month. We were getting really good at dispatching. We are just so upset. Mind you, this is the second driver we have had to get into an accident and essentially put us out of business. We’ve been in the business for 1.5 years at the point. Almost out of the hell period and pretty much not getting turned down because our MC is too young. And then this happens. Just seems like we cannot catch a break.
Business is tough.

Wow, I’m really sorry to hear that I can only imagine how tough that must feel after putting in so much work to build your business. You’ve clearly been pushing through a lot of challenges, and it’s understandable to feel discouraged after something like this. Accidents like that can shake your confidence, especially when you were finally gaining traction. Don’t lose hope you’ve already proven you can make it this far, and that resilience will serve you again when you rebuild. Take some time to regroup, handle the logistics, and then look at what can be adjusted going forward. You’ve got the experience now that most people don’t gain until much later in their journey.
Day 3: Growing Together in the Dispatcher University
It’s my third day in the course, and my eyes have truly been opened. I’m beginning to grasp the dynamics of truck dispatching and the incredible opportunities it offers. I’m confident that this journey marks the beginning of my path toward financial freedom. Grateful for our brilliant coach for making each lesson clear and inspiring. To my fellow learners in this community how’s your progress so far?
