I'm seeing news this morning that OpenAI has removed the ability for personal accounts to create new customGPTs. On their support doc: 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗚𝗼, 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼. NOTE: If you have existing GPTs, you can still update them! I've been taking a little mini-course on making broll with an AI twin so that I have more variety. It's a multipart process in Higgsfield (HF): 1. Make the static lifestyle/business images of you from a headshot you have (ie. in a sitting in a coffee shop, walking on a park path, sitting on a bench at the beach, etc.) - using NanoBananaPro 2. Turn the image into a 5-second video using Kling. Oddly... I'm not loving the images from NanoBanana. I MUCH PREFER THE IMAGES CHATGPT IMAGE 2 IS MAKING! So now my workflow is: 1. make images in ChatGPT and download 2. upload to HF for video creation 3. upload to canva for other graphics But this begs the question... would it be more affordable to just have a subscription to Kling vs going through HF. I know there's a great HF connector in Claude but I don't really see myself doing alot with it. I have not caught the AI image bug like so many. For me, its a means to an end. THOUGHTS????

I got an email today that made me feel sad... Relay.app is shutting down. If you don't know what that is - it's like a Zapier or Make alternative. A "connector" platform. They had a great product, small team, and were always working hard to improve the platform, add more connections to apps, etc. I used them infrequently and never needed a paid account even though they were much more affordable than my go-to, Zapier. But I an only imagine that with MCP connectors becoming so easy to come-by (every app has one) - the need to use a platform like relay is reduced. I mean think about it... remember late last year when N8N was the hot "It Girl" - and now I hear no one talking about it. Claude, ChatGPT and the other frontier LLMs are expandable with MCP connections. I don't even consider a platform if they don't have a MCP now. Anyhoo - I think we are going to be seeing alot more of the smaller platforms shuttering because the mass-need isn't there. What are you thoughts?
