Spotify just launched Running Mode! Every song matches a tempo you pick, it blends the tracks so the beat never drops, and you can run it steady or as intervals. I demoed it this morning and it's honestly pretty sick. But it defaults to 150 BPM, and it does NOT read your actual cadence (maybe someone can build this??). The 2015 version did that off your phone's accelerometer and they killed it lol. Most of us already run 150-170 steps per minute, and bumping that up about 5% cuts the load on your knee by around 20%. So if you just take the default, you're training the wrong direction. Full guide and prompt here: https://www.skool.com/athlete-ai-community/classroom/c89bd042?md=b50e8edcfc404f47b3269f5b73dc96f4 It covers the number you should actually type in (not 180), the 4-week plan to make it stick, and what to do if you're on Android or don't have Premium (sorry Android folks 😓). There's a prompt in there too. Your watch already knows your cadence - the prompt does the part nobody gives you, which is your target, the plan, and a weekly check-in to see if the number is actually moving. My cadence is about 168 on easy runs so I am working on getting that into the 170s consistently! Go find your number and let me know what you get, I'm curious how spread out we are! Kevin
