What We Are Really Doing Here
The world needs more people who are on fire from within. Not just achieving, but aligned. Not just surviving, but sparking joy for others! That’s why Living Brightly exists. I've always wanted to be a part of a community like this so I just decided to create it myself. This space is for the kind of humans who: - Ask big questions - Want to laugh and feel deeply - Are building businesses, relationships, and lives with soul - Believe we rise by lifting others This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. It's not about hustle (no hustle porn here) It’s about harmony. We’re here to live brighter so we can make the world brighter! We live brightly by aligning with these core values (aka The Bright Way): Courageous Curiosity — We ask brave questions and explore unknowns with wonder. Using the phrase "I wonder...." will absolutely get you BBPs.....BRIGHT BONUS POINTS. Conscious Growth — We evolve with intention, not just ambition. Authentic Connection — We show up as ourselves and meet others where they are. Joyful Contribution — We give from overflow, not obligation. Playful Depth — We hold paradox: sacred and silly, light and shadow, progress and pause. Bright Impact — We model the kind of presence we want more of in the world. If this resonates—WELCOME HOME.

I just attended a learning conference. The title of it was talk to the elephant. The premise is basically address the elephant in the room, and that are there unconscious and subconscious actions and reactions from the elephant and the one riding the elephant. She gave an example of how behavior and values don't line up. Texting and driving was an example. Everyone knows it's wrong and can cause accident and it's a serious issue however everyone does it. The author also said to combat this sort of thing and also achieve outcomes, you have to focus on behaviors. Start with the outcome that you want and then define what those behaviors (or habits) you need to do to achieve those outcomes. It's like setting a strategy for change and growth. This has me thinking about my personal and professional life. What are the outcomes that I want? How do I define those? What are my values? I might buy the book it was called talk to the elephant. It shows up in the learning and development space a lot from when we're building training and development experiences for companies. What's everyone think about this? For me personally I'd like to have a better perspective or a more healthy one on life. I also want to define for myself when enough is enough. Do I want to get that next promotion or do I want to find happiness and gratitude for the abundance that I currently live in already? How do I not think so critically or extremely at times? Or not be so self-deprecating? So what are the behaviors I need to practice in order to achieve that outcome? I think joining this group is a healthy start to get others perspectives.

@Kendel Torkildson all good questions to ask. I think that helps define the vision, mission, and values of your business. It will help with the decisions you have to make later because in a way you've already defined a path.
