good Sunday - church n family. Had a great conversation with a friend today about Faith and AI. Think I’ve decided to go a bit stronger on the organic content side of things, with the express purpose of helping businesses adopt AI beyond GPT Been using Claude Code, and while I’m by no means a master, I think it’s incredibly powerful compared to what most people are using in the “real world.” Reaching out to some local biz organizations and seeing about putting together some AI demonstration or presentation to help these people adopt quicker so when crazy unemployment hits the nation, at least the local community will be a bit more prepared in that they adopted these tools proactively instead of getting hit suddenly. Maybe it’s not necessary - we’ll see. Worst case, I help some people out and get better at articulating. Best case, I make a difference and land some clients.

Last night I met with some friends for a Bible study and discussion. We talked a lot about St. Joseph and the virtues he has, how he was a man fit to raise the Lord, and what that means for us. It's a weird balance - striving for lots of money and freedom through this laptop while also striving to be a good and faithful servant, husband, and father. I think the thing I most admire about St. Joseph is the patience. I like rock climbing, eating burgers, and hanging out with friends. How disappointed am I when I don't get to do that? Even if I don't whine or pitch a fit, I most certainly complain inwardly. St. Joseph surely had dreams of a big family, his own house, an heir to his trade and skills. Instead, he accepted the vocation given to him by God, fled his home many times, and laid down his life in servitude to his Virgin Bride. Think he would complain if he couldn't rock climb on a day he was looking forward to? Did he complain when traveling hundreds of miles, likely eating trail biscuits and nuts? Or get up in arms if he couldn't chill by a fire with his friends? He's a great reminder to me. Yes, I may have a different vocation. No, money and freedom isn't inherently evil. But I can, at the very least, have the patience and adaptability to serve my own bride, son, and God. Without complaining. And if those things are taken away from me? Will I dutifully accept, or whine about it? Honestly, couldn't tell you. Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation. Holy Family, Pray for us.

Like I've mentioned before - I have nothing to give in this group except my thoughts and experiences, which I think are worth about as much as it cost you to join... I intend for this to be a place to share accountability in the Faith, business, virtue development, and just overall good human things. Nico, Jaden - y'all are the only reason I'm actually doing something with this. I haven't started my YT, haven't accepted other requests to join, haven't invited anyone. I will continue to remain active, and this will be a sort of journaling space for me. Don't think me smarter or cooler than I am - I'm a dude sharing my life. That's it. I'm sure as the YT becomes a thing and I remain active in other groups, other people will find their way here. Looking forward to see what this group evolves into
