It's called cigar Bar
You have no idea how many photos I have of cigars and a drink...😁 6 8 comments Scott Thornton • Jun 24 If you are going to post a photo there better be a good story to go with it! I think I see the results of sun, sand and booze! 4 Jacques Therrien šŸ”„ • Jun 24 @Scott Thornton Dominican Republic a couple, okay few years ago... I am a purveyor of Hawaiian shirts... I would wear them all the time, but they simply don't work well in our winters as well as sandals.... And I am writing a book, a guide on tanning a very misunderstood art.... 4 Al Voss • Jun 24 There's a Cigar Bar in New Orleans you may want to ask Scott about... 3 Roger Rheault • Jun 24 @Al Voss Yes he definitely should ask Scott about it because I got robbed by pirates there 4 Jacques Therrien šŸ”„ • Jun 25 Now that's a Stogie! @Adrian Ramsey It is!
Hi, I'm Sage, and I'm a Gentleman-a-holic
Hello there, gents. This will be a mostly carbon-copy from my GentZ and S/OG intro, as will many of my best posts from there to come. I'm 41, and live in northern California. Originally from the east coast (born in Florida, grew up between there and Pennsylvania), and I've lived all over the U.S. Favorite place I've lived was Colorado. Sadly, haven't traveled outside the U.S. since I was a child, but really want to again. I was a chef for 10 years, and though I'll never work in that field again, I still love to cook. I'm currently studying Civil/Environmental Engineering and work with other engineers in the capacity of Admin support. I'm also a single father of a 4-year-old - they're the most important person in my life, as all children should be to a parent. For hobbies/interests, probably too many. Cooking, practicing saxophone, gardening, painting with acrylic, fashion (was an amateur model at one point), travel, writing (mostly SciFi Horror), hiking, geology, philosophy/sociology/anthropology, foreign languages, survival prepping, martial arts, home improvement, Legos, very moderate gaming, and financial investment. I'm here in a last effort to find a decent sense of community/belonging in the digital world, and to share my knowledge (especially with budding gentlemen who need direction). I've left all other social media due to increasing toxicity, and generally trying to exist in reality more, living life at a pace closer to the 1990s. ā€œAnd so, what I thought I was seeing with my eyes, was, in fact, grasped solely by the faculty of judgment which is in my mind.ā€ ~Rene Descartes

Is College Worth It
Today I ask the question is college truly worth the time and money. There are many people going into debt to pay to go college. Many of them drop out and never earn degrees. Many of them never get jobs in their fields of study. Many of them never get a job that even requires a college degree. Many trades like plumbers and electricians can’t find enough workers. What are your thoughts is college actually worth it?

I've never applied at the local Tim Horton's or MacDonald's, but I wonder if a Post Secondary education is required. Likely not, unless you are applying for a managerial position. I know that as corporations go, PS education is a prerequisite even for basic positions. Degrees may open more doors, but as the cost increases, it's hard to justify the value at times.

@Renee Migner I agree. Many feel they don't have a choice; I managed ok without a degree. I had a combination of half a brain, common sense, experience, the humility to learn from my mistakes and a strong work ethic. But I would never be a manager as I did not have a degree, so you take your chances and if the right people see who you are it could happen, but it's a big if when you're looking for a high level position. I did however hire and fire many people with degrees. In most cases, the only benefit of the degree is to demonstrate the ability to get one...
My ex and I
We are recently legally separated and selling our riverfront property...I am making an offer today on a much smaller but nice home for a single 67-year-old...there are other offers, and I am looking for some spiritual mojo...lol It's a perfect property for someone who just wants to golf, drink tequila and smoke cigars... I need it....send your mojo my way, please!
