Merging bases workflow?
What is best practice when you want to merge two independent bases together? I have two working 'prototype' bases and the time has now come to join them together. What's the best way to do this?

Hey Colin, without knowing anything about your two bases that you want to merge into one, my recommendation is just to build a new base from scratch, creating the tables and fields manually in the data tab. Or by asking Omni to build the new base for you. If you want to provide more details about your bases and what your goal is, I can give you a more nuanced suggestion.
Hello! Just joined as I am hiring a role for an Airtable expert
Thank you for welcoming me into this cool community. I have a really exciting opportunity - which could evolve into many other projects for a London based consumer goods merchandising company. Job Spec below: I’m looking for a developer with strong experience designing structured databases (ideally airtable) and rebuilding internal workflow systems for real-world operational teams. This involves consolidating many Excel sheets into a unified schema, designing clean data models, and building practical ingestion + workflow automations (PDF/email/SharePoint → structured records). This is for a mid-sized consumer goods supplier (private-label style). Timeline: 2-3 months starting in January (design starting ASAP). Would be very hands on / full-time Timezone: Strong overlap with UK hours. Rate: Day rate or project rate – open. If interested, please send examples only (1-2 min Looms are ideal). Please provide: 1. Loom(s) or screen-share demos of relevant work: - A database or internal tool you architected - Any workflow system (CP engine, operations tracking, etc.) - Any Excel → database migration you’ve done - Any ingestion: emails/PDFs/SharePoint/Drive → structured data (Blur/redact anything sensitive — structure is what matters.) 2. Additional proof: - Screenshots / case studies - Before/after examples of messy → structured systems What the Build Involves - Designing a structured, scalable database to replace fragmented spreadsheets (the design is very important as there current structure is very messy) - Migrating/collapsing hundreds of Excel sheets into a single schema - Building a workflow layer with milestones, dependencies, statuses, and team visibility - Ingesting briefs and documents (emails, PDFs, SharePoint folders) into structured records - Setting foundations for additional modules later (costing engine, concept library, etc.) Tech stack is flexible — Airtable (ideally), Supabase, or a custom DB are all options, depending on UX/performance needs.

Hey Joseph! Sent you a DM
Hello from a fellow (obsessed) Airtable Builder!
I'm so happy I found this group. I'm a full-time, certified Airtable Builder, and I am completely obsessed with the platform. It's great to finally have a place to geek out with other people who know and use it as well! I'm also certified in Softr and typically work with clients in the real estate and construction industries. One thing I'm really passionate about is the future of Airtable's AI. I'm really hoping they start to ramp up their AI capabilities to be on par with what we're seeing from other platforms. Looking forward to connecting and learning from you all! :)

Welcome to the group!
How long have you used airtable?
I've been using airtable for around 3 years now. I was in a certification program and she showed us how she uses it with her team and my brain felt like it exploded. It did everything I wanted my chaotic google sheets to do LOL NOW? I went through that insane certification process and I'm ready to make my interfaces do more and more. I'm looking forward to gleaming info from all of you here. Don't forget, just because something you do with airtable is a no-brainer, doesn't mean everyone has learned it yet.

Looks like I created my account back in August of 2022. Which Airtable certifications have you completed?

Looking for a developer
Hi!I'm the founder of a sales agency that works with infoproduct creators, and I’m looking for an Airtable expert who specializes in building custom CRMs for sales teams. 💼 What I need: I’m looking for someone with hands-on experience building CRMs in Airtable that can: - Handle high volumes of leads - Be tailored specifically to sales workflows - Include integrations with tools like Calendly, form platforms (e.g., Typeform), WhatsApp, and more - Support multiple sales reps, track lead status, and structure daily workflows 📊 On the dashboard side, I need: - Clear timeline views to understand lead evolution and pipeline stages over time - Metrics by team and individual seller performance - Ability to track This is for an ongoing collaboration. I’d love to find someone who can not only build the initial CRMs for each client we onboard, but also provide ongoing support and adjustments as needed. If you’ve done something similar or have experience building scalable CRM systems for sales teams in the infoproduct/digital product space, please send over your portfolio or some examples. Let’s talk! 👇
