Seeing my debut featured on a BookBub deal this morning is… possibly one of the greatest Wins I have ever had in my life 🙌🏼

Big congratulations
Group for 30k in 30 days challenge?
I'm thinking of doing the 30k in 30 days challenge starting July 1st . . . anyone want to start the same time so we can keep each other accountable?

I would love to join. Little behind for my challenge this month but hoping to finish strong.
Here is a list of things that are not doing the thing:
“Preparing to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Scheduling time to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Making a to-do list for the thing isn't doing the thing. Telling people you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Messaging friends who may or may not be doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Writing a banger tweet about how you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on yourself for not doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on other people who have done the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on the obstacles in the way of doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Fantasizing about all of the adoration you'll receive once you do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how other people did the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading this essay isn't doing the thing. The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing.” — Strangest Loop I don't know about you guys, but when I feel like I'm "failing," I often find through self-reflection that I am doing something on this list other than doing the thing. Anyone else?

Needed this little kick, thank you.
Trad vs. indie vs. hybrid
Talk to me people. Why did you choose the path you’re on? I’d love to hear your answers.

Still early in the process but I'm thinking indie. I like the thought of pushing a polished product out right away. I'm also a big supporter of kickstarters, when done right. Lastly, it's about community engagement for me, which can be done at any type I suppose. In the far future I like the thought of boothing at various conventions and just engaging that way.
Facebook Ads
I… cannot figure out what type of visuals people like for ads. I’ve been click testing and it hasn’t been very successful. Fantasy authors especially… do you use Facebook/meta ads? Are they successful? If so, can I see what your ad looks like?

Aspiring fantasy author who reads more than he writes. Physics degree is currently collecting dust.
