Today is Palm Sunday—the story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem, the crowd lifting palms and singing Hosanna. It’s a moment of glory that will quickly turn—to torture, suffering, death—and yet also back to joy and resurrection. It’s a powerful story. And like all sacred stories, it asks something of us. To bring the looking glass into our own lives by living an examined life. In the Yoga Sutras, transformation begins with attention—atha, now. With svadhyaya, self-study, and tapas, that inner heat that moves us through obstacles and helps us shift how we see. If you’ve been moving through my Great Vows course, you’ve entered the last week with the Yamas. Not as a list of “don’ts,” but as an exploration of what we are at our core and how to live our own Sacred Story. There is something simple here, even if it’s not always easy: to love. Fully. Completely. This week, if you have a palm leaf—or any leaf—take a moment with it. Tune into the rhythms that are already there. Touch it. Smell it. Gaze at it. And see what it reflects back. Of you. Please share your stories. Love, Jackie
