Next Steps
Curious if this community does accountability partners. I just finished the free course! Definitely some knowledge gaps to fill in, but I have a feel for the overall process. Next step is to get the tools (and probably the paid course), clarify where to get numbers for cold calling, and the contracts. Is there anyone on a similar trajectory or a bit ahead who would like to compare notes?

@Nonshhlant St. Ceasar that's a good point. I've signed up for Truckai, I hadn't thought of working group pages though. The startup I work at now does that though and they've gotten some good leads. Thanks!
Newbie Here
Good afternoon, I am new to the community; but not to the industry. -I have been a driver for 11 years and it is now time to spread my wings on thisnside of the industry. -Before driving I was in corporate, so the background has been in administration, technology and medicine. -My moments of peace that I treasure most come from spending time with family and friends, my dogs, and art of any form. Aspirations: The sky is the limit. Building target $20k/month. I would love to get to know many of you in this industry and possibly bounce ideas off of one another. Have a wonder full day!

@Natasha Bush good to meet you! i just started too, but my background is in sales. I'm a little nervous to learn this side of the industry but i'm hoping to make it up in terms of closing deals. What made you decide to switch over to this type of work?
$6,800/month in 30 days!! 🥳
@Cassandra Durham was stuck in a 9-to-5 for 3 years… And in the last 30 days, she has signed 4 carriers and on track to $6,800/month dispatching trucks. Here’s how it happened 👇🏽 (NOTE: Full coaching call is posted below...) Just a few months ago, Cassandra was working remotely, feeling like her career had hit a wall. No growth. No freedom. No time with her son. She wanted something that actually let her control her income and build a future she owned. That’s when she found truck dispatching. She had already tried two other “training” programs — both a waste of time. Then she came across Dispatcher University. She said the free course alone gave her more real knowledge than both of those paid programs combined. So she joined DU — and everything changed. In the last 30 days, here’s what she did: → Joined the Dispatch Games (our challenge where students post content + run ads for 30 days) → Landed her first 2 carriers in just 2 weeks → Landed 2 more using Facebook ads + Instagram DMs → All 4 carriers signed — without making a SINGLE cold call Now she’s about to start making $6,800/month charging her carriers 9% per load. When I asked what made DU different, she said: “The community, the marketing training, and the support. You get an abundance of help here. You won’t regret joining.” Cassandra was in the same spot most of you are right now. Watching, thinking, waiting for the “right time.” She just made a different decision... 👉🏽 Join Dispatcher University today for $97/month: skool.com/dispatch Here’s what you get: • 100 + hours of step-by-step training • LIVE Q&A calls with me every week • Scripts, templates, and ad setups that actually work And remember: if you don’t sign your first carrier in 90 days, you get 100% of your money back. No risk. Just action. 👉🏽 Join here → skool.com/dispatch You’ve seen others win. Now it’s your turn! – Gurpreet

Hey great Dispatchers
Hey everyone, I'm new to freight dispatching and trying to figure out the legal side of getting started. My main question is: can I legally begin working with brokers and carriers as a sole proprietor, or is an LLC required right away? Also, if I start without an LLC: · Are my invoices still legally valid for payment? · Will brokers take me seriously without a registered business? Would love to hear how you handled this when starting out. Did you form an LLC immediately, or wait until you had some income coming in?
Hey great Dispatchers

First week progress
I just wanted to give a quick update on my progress during my first week Last week I registered my LLC and got my EIN number. I’ve been going through the course videos, and last night I finished the ones about Truk.ai. I’m honestly amazed by how powerful it is and how easy Gurpreet has made it for us to use Also @Gurpreet Gill I really admire what you’re doing for all of us. I’m also super impressed by two things first, how you never lose your train of thought when explaining something and second, how you speak without using filler words. I always catch myself saying ummm or aaa but you don’t. How did you get that level of clarity when speaking? Hopefully I’ll get the chance to meet you personally one day
