Dopamine detox group challenge? 👀
Yesterday during the Cohort 3 Q&A we had a fascinating discussion about dopamine, procrastination, sleep, focus, social media, Netflix binges, gaming, and why we sometimes struggle to do the things we actually want to do. Multiple members shared that when they reduce the constant stimulation for a few days, they: - Sleep better - Feel calmer - Focus easier - Stop procrastinating as much - Feel more connected to themselves So I'm considering organizing a 3-Day Dopamine Detox Challenge for the ADHD Harmony community. We'd check in together each day and share wins, struggles, insights, and what changes when the noise disappears. I'm curious... Who would actually join? Let me know in the comments. What would be the hardest thing for you to give up for 3 days? 😅

The Capable One
Just did the Identity Transformation worksheet and finally named the mask I've worn forever: The Capable One. The jack-of-all-trades everyone counts on. I realized I've been treating myself like the help desk, never off duty, always bracing for the next request. Turns out my availability was supposed to be a gift I choose, not a debt I owe. Stepping into someone who creates, meditates, and is allowed to rest.

It's not bad, it's just what you've had to do to survive your environment. The good thing is that now you are aware of them and can work on setting them down ❤️

I thought the somatic breathing class was excellent! Thank you Jim and my ADD brain has already forgotten that kind gentleman's name 🤦🏻‍♀️ but many thanks to both 🙏🏼 Please share your experiences! I was deeply calm and mostly focused. I had a few distracted thoughts but was easy to bring myself back. My throat got very dry so I would use a few drops of olive oil in my throat the next time maybe. The top of my head is still tingling 🌟

Playing Dominos...
Just finished my Biological Wake-Up Call and got a surprise. I walked in convinced nutrition was my biggest disaster. Turns out it's sleep. I wake up tired no matter what, and I've been carrying my phone upstairs every night to Google random things at midnight. My first domino: leaving the phone downstairs and walking up without it. Apparently everything else gets easier from there. Starting tonight.
