Invitation to awareness…
🦋 A takeaway from yesterday’s conversation on breath and awareness… Awareness is the foundation of all somatic work. Before we can change a pattern, regulate a nervous system response, or make a different choice, we first have to notice what’s happening. Most of us spend years trying to fix things before we’ve learned how to observe them. Yep, me too! Today, try this out: Pause for one moment. Take one slow breath. Notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body. No need to change anything. Just notice. Awareness is where healing and any sustainable change begins. What did you notice when you paused today? 🫶🏽

I just had a tarot reading today telling me to sit in silence! So I'll be doing this every chance I get!

@Julia Poleyestewa it’s so important to slow down the mind often. Most people don’t even think about it!
Something I've been noticing...
June feels like the most visible month of the year. The warmer weather brings everyone outside. Parks are full. Restaurants are busy. There's an energy of being seen that's harder to avoid this time of year. So I'm curious: Where in your life do you wish you could be more...you? I don't mean a different version of you. Just more you. I'd love to hear what's coming up.

@Rachel Bach That's perfect! Now is the time to experiment with showing up in the different ways. Nature supports our need for different types of expression!
Quick Check in...
What's one thing that's been helping you get through the week lately? Big or small. Could be movement, music, time outside, rest, a favorite meal, a conversation, a pet, a book... anything. Curious what's helping people right now. Mine's been music. I've had this classic on repeat on my commute. https://open.spotify.com/track/2cReSKmcyhe6lw8QSj5AYD?si=1ae104c2e68147b8 The Traveling Wilburys - End of The Line (best heard loud!) The message reminds me of something my grandma Betty used to say: "It will all be ok in the end, and if it's not ok, it's not the end." 💛

@Mercedes Rummel I love that! I've been training myself to sit in silence for long periods of time, just being mindful. It's harder than it looks!

For me, it's been honoring my family time. Whether work is finished or not, I shut it down at 3 pm and shift my attention to enjoying summer with my kids!
May Gratitude
I really enjoyed the gratitude section. I find it so easy to forget just how wonderful the things are I have. I know you aren't supposed to not take advantage of these things but I do sometimes. So being conscious and feeling into the appreciation for these things feels good. The journaling for this month helped me see the things I have now I was infact praying for several years ago and that shift inside me that feeling of almost relief. I never celebrated those wins but looking back they are answered prayers. I do struggle with always wanting more and not being fully satisfied I guess with what I have. Doing this questions and making my list I can feel both while still being greatful. I think I'm learning too that this wanting more isn't so much about not being happy enough as it striving for more, always moving forward. I needed to work on gratitude so this fell in the perfect month. This is something I still want to continue to work on especially because it does being me joy and help me look at life softer.

Amazing! Gratitude is the cornerstone of well-being and it’s so easy to just “forget” to be grateful. I’ll be doing some gratitude work each month because I think it’s THAT important! I will be hosting a live session this week so I hope you can pop in!

@Mercedes Rummel we love that you’re here!
May content is up!
This month’s theme is:✨ Desire + Permission We’re exploring what it actually feels like to: - want more without guilt - trust what’s coming up - and feel safe holding your desires Inside the classroom, you’ll find: A sleep meditation to support subconscious reprogramming An EFT session A somatic visualization to help you experience receiving safely A gratitude practice to close out the month (and we may add some more!) We’ll also be hosting live sessions, including an EFT Flow session on May 7 (check the calendar for details). If you can join live, I highly recommend it. This is where the work really deepens.
