For the past few weeks, some animal has been repeatedly digging up my raised garden beds. I have not seen it as it happens in the middle of the night. I wake up to big holes in the dirt and dirt outside the raised beds. I think it could be a squirrel, skunk, opossum, or a rat? Perhaps this animal is digging up and eating those big white grubs. I left the backyard light on but it doesn't seem to help. What has worked for you?

Hi Gardeners! My name is Ivy and I am a vegan and grow almost every vegetable I eat in my permaculture backyard garden and the fruit forest in my front yard in southern California. It's so nice to be able to grow all 4 seasons, and here are some photos from my garden... I'm holding up a white patty pan squash that had a conjoined twin and looks like a butterfly!
