I write a new fingerstyle tab each week and this week's tab is The Final Countdown by Europe. If you're a fan of 80's synth pop, this one for you and it works surprising well on acoustic guitar. The full versions here and you can have a listen to the easy version in the Back Catalogue section in the Classroom. This was a request from a member and I do use your input to help decide which songs to cover so if you have any requests leave me a comment. I can't always promise I can do them but I will take a look and if I can't arrange that specific song it gives me ideas for the kind of materials you want. Hey, This week’s new fingerstyle exercise is ready, and we’re going back to arpeggios… but with a slightly different feel. These 7 arpeggios all have a more dreamy, atmospheric sound, created by using chord variations like maj7, m7, sus2, and sus4. Don’t worry if those sound complicated — in most cases, it just means taking a finger off or adding one to a chord shape you already know. Small changes, but they make a big difference to the overall sound.
