Hi community! I will move to Canada in a month, I have civil engineering experience in Germany and USA but I want to know more about the industry in Canada, see if I can get my PE in Ontario because I will study my master at York. If possible also find short term jobs remote or on site to learn while still studying.

@Josh Turner thank you for replying to me. I would like to work even during a few months in the west coast. I am a bit worried because some ppl have told me that winters in Canadá are very cold, but I have worked in Germany on winter, so it is possible to deal with snow.

What do you want to get out of this community (August)
Hey everybody, thought I would kick off a new post for August. What are your goals for this month and what are you trying to get out of the community? Mine are pretty simple and straightforward 1. Keep experimenting with AI and sharing what I'm learning 2. Keep making a ton of youtube videos 3. Keep learning about construction project management and working out the best way to deliver projects and run a construction business Keen to hear what you're goals are and what you want to get out of the community

I just want to learn a bit about everything. I can speak 3 languagues Spanish, english and German, and a bit of french. I was born in Colombia.
